Looking forward to many years of Parker vs Wiggins.
 
i can only imagine how much more parker would have blown up if he sat out the summer league

With a couple key vets, we'll be stacked at positions 1-4. There is a LOT of talent there. I have no idea what we'll do at the center position though. We need rim protection in the worst way, and that won't be cheap.
 
Just finished watching. Love Delly, does so much. Wiggins looked good. Love the athleticism. I was glad to read good things about AB as I thought he looked much like last year. Great day for The Cavs.
 
Obviously new to this all so I will just say what stuck out to me...

I don't follow college ball so I was shocked to see not only an inside but outside offensive game from Wiggins. He had some movements on offense where you can tell he is just raw talent and under the tutelage of James will blossom.

Bennett with 15 and 7? I didn't know he had an outside game.

Bennett's outside game was one of the major appeals of drafting him. He hit a lot of 3 pointers in college.
 
So why did he under achieve so much his rookie season? I heard he lost 15 lbs this off season already though and the little I did shee him play last year he looked comfortable out there tonight.

Injuries, no training camp due to surgery, horrible mismanagement of getting him back into shape.
 
Giannis looks amazing: easily would be the #1 pick last year if the draft was redone.

Agreed that he looked very good..

Still not the # 1 pick given all the questions about him.

Questions still unanswered..
1 Can he become a consistent threat from the outside?
2 Will he show up in clutch moments?
3 Does he make others better?

For ? #3 I will answer.. I think he does on the defensive side of the ball. The rest of the ?'s remain unanswered..

So much potential but I would say we have the same in different areas when we speak of AB.
 
Who would be picked ahead of him? MCW? I like MCW a lot, but Giannis looks like he's going to be on a totally different level. That dude moves like Kevin Durant.
 
I love Bennett's potential. I defend him on occasion.

I would draft Giannis in a heartbeat if we could go back in time. :chuckles:
