Summer League Game 1 - Cavs vs. Bucks - Friday, July 11, 2014, 8:00pm EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I love Bennett's potential. I defend him on occasion.

I would draft Giannis in a heartbeat if we could go back in time. :chuckles:

Yea, you just watch the way he moves with the ball in his hands. It's just like Durant. So smooth for someone so long. And just watching him out there today he looked MILES ahead of where he was last season. They are going to be my side team this season. If everyone maximizes their potential, that team could be a ton of fun.

Yeah I agree, but not getting Giannis is fine now that we have Wiggins.

I really liked Bennett defensively today. He was much quicker laterally and in general. He stood his ground in the post and made Jabari pass out! Nice. Maybe Mike Brown did have an effect on him on the defensive end. He looked a lot more prepared and comfortable.

I hope he does improve his conditioning however. He is young and needs to be able to shoot jumpers at the end of the game. 2 airballs in a row were too many.

An open 3 from an out-of-bounds play. Suck on that Earl Clark.

that is pretty darn sexy, cant wait to see what the entire offense will look like

Fantastic first game! Really liked what I saw from the guys that you'd expect to be on the final roster.

A couple notes:
- Cooley really looks like Harangody!
- AB looks so much better and confident. Going to SummerLeague is a huge boost. Just wish he'd concentrate on his paint game rather than shooting all those jumpers.
- Loved Wiggins athleticism. Solid first showing overall, despite some jitters when launching 3 point air balls. My main critique for Wiggins is to avoid standing on the court with his hands on his hips during live ball scenarios. I saw it a few times, even in practice footage. IMO just looks like he's taking the play off.

Really happy though overall!

Didn't catch the first quarter, but I was 50-50 on what I saw from AB. He was running the floor well and I saw a couple of nice post ups and decent ball handling, but he is definitely not in the shape he needs to be. In the last 2 minutes he put up two consecutive shots that barely grazed the front iron, and he never should have shot the second one seeing as we were up a couple with very little time left. Then he completely took the next series off--got blown by easily by Giannis then walked up the court with his hands on his hips. I see the potential in him as a mobile big and think he will still be very good, but we can't have those mental and physical lapses during crunch time.

Couldn't watch the game. Did wiggins take it to his left a lot or just stick to his right?

He went left at least twice, but goes to the step back off 1/2 dribble, its was pretty damn good step back though

did Joe Harris get anytime. I watched the entire game but dont remember seeing or hearing from him at all

He rolled his ankle in practice during the week so he didn't play. They said he might play tomorrow.
