2014 - 2015 Eastern Conference

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Wizards are not built on youth.

3 of their starters were oldish vets from other teams. Most of their key bench players are also in their primes or older.

Beal could take a frighteningly big leap but that is about it.

Wall, Beal, and Porter could be their core going forward though and all 3 of those guys have room to grow.

Last year this seemed like it might actually be important. This year?? :chuckles:

Their perimeter is Wall, Beal, and Porter... Ariza bounced.
We've got Kyrie Irving (>Wall), Andrew Wiggins (>Beal), and LeBron James (>all), with Waiters coming off the bench (>Beal & >Porter)....

I'm...... not worried about the Wizards my man. More concerned with Spurs and Thunder at this point. That's it.

p.s.
Love trade changes the dynamic a great deal, but assuming we keep one of Wiggins or Waiters, we're still way better than the Wizards.

This sounds like you think we are better off keeping both AW & DW and not trading for Love.

Bingo...

I think we should wait!

We've got such great pieces as it is, there is no reason to gut the team. The assets we should be looking to move are Thompson, Bennett, Varejao, and picks. Waiters should be on the block, but if he can accept the role of 6th man then I see no problem with keeping him around (unless it means he can net us a center).

But if we gut the team and mortgage our future for Kevin Love, I'd be pissed.

I am all for waiting and seeing what we have. The problem with LBJ as GM is that TT and AV likely stay...

But maybe they aren't as untouchable as we thought. The word is that we have three separate offers to Minny right? It doesn't really make sense that we would have two non-Wiggins offers and one Wiggins offer. They would clearly just take the Wiggins offer. So it would seem we must have three Wiggins-less offers which would have to include a combination of guys like DW, AB, TT, AV, which is why Minny hasn't accepted one of them?

Either way, look at this

Kyrie Irving/Ramon Sessions
Anthony Parker/Daniel Gibson/Christain Eyenga/Manny Harris
Omri Casspi/Alonzo Gee
Antwan Jamison/Tristan Thompson/Luke Harangody
Anderson Varejao/Samardo Samuels/Ryan Hollins/Semih Erden

Horrible feeling for Pacer fans. I was hoping Indy would beat out the Bulls before lance left and the horrific event of tonight.

With the way Rose looked, it seems that the Bulls and Cavs are on a collision course for the ECF. Washington and Charlotte have a shot, but I feel like it is Cavs and Bulls in late May.

I think the Wizzards and Hornets are next up IMO, Washington is the one team I cna see spoiling the Cavs Bulls collision.

Whats the East looking like now?

1. Cavs
2. Bulls
3. Wizards
4. Hornets
5. Hawks
6. Raptors
7. Knicks
8. Nets

Maybe I have the Hornets too high. Raptors could be a 4 seed just as easy. It is really a toss up in the East right now from 4-8. Will be interesting. I'm actually sort of scared of the Wizards though. They added Paul Pierce. And Kris Humphries for more post depth. I think the Hornets are really just one or two pieces away from being really good, but Lance was a great add for them. Knicks lost Tyson and Nets lost Pierce. Not too scared of them, but you never know. They still have talent and could get it together.

And Nets might be better than that actually assuming Brook Lopez is coming back strong.

If that is supposed to be playoff seedings, you have to move Toronto to #4

Still think Miami is better than Both New York teams and the Hawks. Drakhorse (very long shot, but they have some nice pieces for the 8th seed is Orlando. 35-38 wins may not be out of the question there.

1. Cavs 2. Bulls 3. Wizards 4. Hornets 5. Heat 6. Raptors 7. Knicks 8. Hawks

the heat will be in the mix somewhere. Wade and Bosh still could get them to 45 wins in my opinion. wouldn't mind a 2nd rd matchup with them come may..

If the Hawks and Knicks can avoid injuries they could slip into the 7th or 8th seed. Losing Pierce and not resigning Blatche is going to hurt the Nets.

1. Cleveland 2. Chicago 3. Toronto 4. Washington 5. Charlotte 6. Miami 7. Atlanta 8. Brooklyn/New York

With Cleveland, Toronto, and Washington being the division winners. And this is assuming Paul George misses a good portion of the season.

I'm not too worried about the Wizards. The only two teams I am worried about are the Bulls and Raptors, yes Raptors. They pretty solid at every position and are developing a lot of chemistry together.
