What are the "right kinds" of protein bars? Give me a couple of examples so I know what to look for.

not the cheapest available, but then again if you are using protein bars in the first place price can't be that big of an issue...

Goal is to burn some fat off right while maintaining protein levels, right? I eat like 2 turkey sandwiches at a time, some baked chips, water. Cereal skim milk in the morning, 2 salmon fillets at night.

Any other ideas?
i would dump the chips and cereal in favor of things like oatmeal, eggs, nuts, greek yogurt, fruits, veggies, cottage cheese, etc.

eating the stuff you do won't totally derail your weight loss (assuming reasonable portions obv) but the above would be better.

both older I know but they've been getting me amped these last couple weeks

I've been dieting for about 2 weeks now, down about 8 pounds. Basically I was eating shit because I don't have much time for real meals as a car salesman. So I started just doing Almased protein shakes for breakfast and lunch and then grilled chicken and veggies for dinner. On Mondays and Thursdays I work until 9 PM so I do the chicken and veggies for lunch instead and have a shake for dinner.

I've also been doing bodyweight workouts and dumbbell workouts at my house. I don't feel like going to the gym after a 12 hour day so I just do it in the basement. To finish it up I pick some show on netflix that runs for 45 minutes, I watch two episodes while I work on the exercise bike.
 
Keep that protein up and make sure you're losing the right weight

Hey guys, I've known this dude for a couple years now....he just made a blog post about how it is possible to eat to grow/cut/whatev, without $losing$ your a$$ financially. He is a fantastic strength coach, and anyone who lives on the east side should seek him out for some legit ass advice. I've known Jay (the author of the blog) for a few years now; we were early CrossFit fanatics together in the mid 2000s lol.

Worth a look.

Couldn't wait a week to replace my lunches. Got a pack of tortilla's, some deli meat, and deli cheese and made a wrap for lunch tomorrow. Roughly the same cost as the pre-packaged products.

Also bought box of Cliff Bars.
 
Im siTting pretty at 95 grams of protein and 550 calories today..excellent breakdown. That's like 70% protein

Replace the tortillas with lettuce and double the meat hnnnnng

My buddy is in canada, getting him and myself some ephedrine..its like half the price of bronkaid. Stoked to try it out, big time
 
I do ground chicken and ground turkey all super lean meats. You can really vary hour you prep it and it is easy to measure out in 8 ounce sections. I do four or five meals a day. I hit 100 grams of healthy Fats, 200 grams of protein no grains all in about 1700 calories a day. I've been building. Steadily on that diet.

You gain on 1700 cals?

Yes actually I do. I've never had issues putting on gains on a low cal regimen. It's always been more about my protein intake. I have a much harder time cutting. Also mind you that I don't try and hulk out but at my peak, I was pretty big.

Everybody is different, it is figuring out how your body responds best.

It was actually a coincidence, him and his cousin are advanced body builders and his cousin told him "i only take X supplement and coffee on my cuts" sooo after reading about bronkaid i asked him if thats what his cuz takes and he said yeah; and that he's in cananda right now and buying me some lol. Ill probably pick up bronkaid tomorrow morning though cuz i dont wanna wait a week to start it. He said its $5 for ~50 pills

Edit- we actually got to a pharmacy this morning (still road tripping) and there wasnt a pharmacist on duty..raaaaage. whatevs guess ill just have to wait. 12 days without gym access :(
