They took for-fucking-ever to "decide" this. This hurt the Browns. The Browns didn't shove the pot down his dumbshit throat. Something needed to happen to Gordon (a full year is way to much) but punishing the Browns by waiting this long is absurd.
 
A guy is missing an entire NFL for weed. Weed.

Meanwhile another guy knocked his girlfriend out cold, drug her out of an elevator and he will be playing in week 3. Seems reasonable.

Throwing Gordon's stupidity out of it, these things aren't equal....nor logical.

A player missing an entire year of his career on a technicality. He tested positive for literally a trace amount of weed on ONE of his A/B samples. The other was under. To miss an entire season of your career on that is complete and utter bullshit, regardless of the player or team.

This is 100% on Josh Gordon.

The NFL, however, is like a terrible parody of how a professional sports league should be run.

I fail to see how blaming the guy who was a multiple, multiple offender of the league rules makes me stupid. Before the Rice ruling everyone said he deserves what he gets and now they're mad since it looks like our season is already in the crapper just waiting to be flushed.

I'm mad that it is a literal calender year before Gordon can come back. At some point, you are hurting both the player and the team. Suspend Gordon for a year, fine, but do it quickly and timely.
