Thx for the update. I can understand if the work was too much to get done in the offseason- biut I was under the impression they would be all done by the opener. I have a feeling those ads will be up regardless of what else gets done by Sunday....
 
I actually don't mind the brown endzones. The white outline helps a lot. When they get the stupid ass helmet in the middle of the field, it will all come together.

Or just have the simple B logo at mid field, not on the helmets. I am a fan of just the orange helmets. I just want SOMETIHNG at the 50yd line.

Now that I'd say is possible. I welcome it, as well... The Seahawks changed their stripe for the better. The Browns don't need to go that far with it, but maybe increasing the stripe's presence, like making it thicker or having it pop out or having it be a different finish, etc, could be cool.
 
What are the odds they make it a more neon orange like Seattle's green.
 
So they finalized the 2 new escalators. They are great. I have season tickets with my dad. Before this season, to get to our upper deck seats, we either had to walk halfway around the stadium and stand in line for 10 minutes to get on the escalators, or take those switchback ramps that take forever to climb. My dad has a bad hip, so neither route is optimal.

The new escalators had no wait and took us almost straight to our seats. Much needed.

On Tuesday, Browns president Alec Scheiner provided an update on the process, which will culminate on the sheet being pulled off the new uniforms right before the 2015 draft.

“We’ll have cutting-edge uniforms that link back to our history,” Scheiner told Bull & Fox of 92.3 The Fan in Cleveland on Tuesday. “I’m really excited about our direction. We’ve been working with the NFL and Nike for almost a year now. We have another year until we roll out our uniforms. I’d be very surprised if our fans don’t love our new-look uniforms.”

If the Browns plan to link back to their history, there’s not much of a uniform history to link back to. When the team was initially founded, the numbers had a shadowing effect, which was trendy about 20 years ago — and which could mean it’s time for it to become trendy again. The uniform hasn’t changed that much since then, with periodic orange pants and brown pants and at one point an ill-advised orange jersey.

Also that the helmet will NOT be changed. So, that could just mean no logo but go metallic, or it means no change whatsoever.

I really hope they are good.
