We have the 2 best players in the eastern conference. We need to get Love some rest and bring him back with some more plays. No one will be able to contend with us in the East

WOW!
I will be unbelievably dissapointed if he doesn't get voted in as a reserve...

Kyrie Irving has been absolutely dominant during this eight-game winning streak. I counted up his stats and here is what I came up with over the last 8:

PPG: 27.625
RPG: 3.625
APG: 5.5
TOPG: 2.5
SPG: 2.0

(Obviously the 55-point performance tonight really helps his scoring average, but look at these percentage numbers below!)

FG%: .513
3PT%: .500
FT% .878

Just insane numbers he has been putting up! Not to even mention how improved his defense has been. He has a better FG% than Lebron during this eight-game stretch and trails only Mozzy ( .533 on much lower attempts).

Need a gif of the game winner (preferably with LeBron chest bump) asap

I'm like Oprah on this board tonight.. "you get a like.. YOU get a winner.. YOU get an informative"..

What a night to be a Cavs fan.

That is absurd!!!!(fred voice)

Huge step up game from Kyrie. And he did it with LeBron out and knowing Love is hurting.

Incredible performance. This team, and all of its components, is growing stronger by the day. Love is showing himself and the team strength by playing through pain and Kyrie is taking the next step.

Just a great win all around tonight.

I really think Kyrie Irving is going to be one of those guys who, when the playoffs, come around, just hits an entirely new level of play. I have nothing to back this up besides gut feeling, obviously. But he just seems like he'll be able to handle the emotional ups and downs of a playoff series like a veteran.

Once Love gets healthy and he gets clicking this offense is going to be unstoppable.

Wow. That is KYLE KORVER good!

@CavsFTW

Care to explain why you don't think Kyrie will go down as a franchise great?

IMO by the time he finishes up his current extension he's going to pass Mark Price for best point guard in Cavs' history. Kyrie already has the third highest scoring average in franchise history (behind LeBron and World B. Free), second highest career PER (sandwiched between LeBron and Mark Price), and top-6 in three-pointers made (and just out the top-10 in 3PT%). Those are some wildly impressive numbers for someone that just turned 23.

Is the night he's making Cavs' history really the time to troll? That was a career performance, kinda in disbelief anyone watched that and still doubts his place among franchise greats. The double-nickels he scored was only one off the franchise record of 56 (set by LeBron). The 11 made three-pointers bested CJ Miles' record from last year. To top things off he even managed to hold All-Star Dame Lillard to 14 points on 19 shots.

Just an absolutely amazing performance from one of the best young players to ever wear a Cavs' uniform.

I think one of the most important things about the winning streak is how badly opposing point guards have been doing against us. At some point we have to talk about Irving taking his defense to another level as well. Mozzy has been huge in allowing Kyrie to gamble, but Kyrie has also been doing a great job at keeping them in front of him.

One thing you can never say badly about LeBron, he's a GREAT teammate. I've never seen a guy that gets so excited over the accomplishments of others.

The guy gets knocked too much, LB does a lot more good on and off the floor, than bad.
