From what I understand, what made LeBron buy-in and give Blatt a real chance was a test they made in one of the weekends off he had:
LeBron and his wife put two toys of their newborn child, Zhuri, in the room. One toy had the picture of Mark Jackson on it and the other had Blatt's. They asked her to choose, and she chose Blatt.
I'm glad she didn't choose Bryce's tank....

POTY candidate.

A really small point in the big scheme of things, but I loved how there was a conscious effort by everyone on the Cavs to switch the pick and roll whenever Spencer Hawes was setting it. We took him completely out of the game, he couldn't spot up for 3 and I remember him even trying to post up a smaller player one time and he ended up with an awful shot. Just another one of the small things that show me that Blatt gets it.

I bet he's gonna talk about getting Love more in the offense now.

For all of this dude's purported coaching acumen, I don't think he's as smart as he thinks.

One loss after 12 straight and here we go for the man's neck again lmao

Blatt's coaching in the end tonight was not good. It was a sign of an unexperienced NBA coach. He will get it straigt.

I'm laughing at this get Love involved "thing". This game with the Pacers was a prime example, he probably had 6 WIDE open shots and he bricked them, wasn't running back on Defense and was passing up shots. I am tired of the excuses for Love's poor play.

Blatt must realize what's in front of him: Love is injured. Sit him 2 weeks damn it. Big mistake here.

Too much Delly in the 2nd half. And let's be honest: the effort wasn't great. Cavs were due for an off-night, and here we are. Pacers slowed the game down, and lulled the Cavs to sleep. Blatt should've abandoned the LeBron/Delly/Shump/Tristan/Timo lineup sooner, but not sure that would've done the trick. Pacers just wanted this one more.

Look, we're supposed to get Love involved, we all get it. We want him to get involved. Yet if he's the 4th or 5th most reliable player on the floor you don't just keep feeding him with the hope/expectation he will turn it around. You get shots to guys who are playing better. This isn't Minnesota where he is the only guy that will be shooting.

12. Those are the facts. Now my interpretation: I don’t think James intended for any of this to be malicious. He made it a point to say he was looking for Love on the court today. Three of his eight assists went to Love and James said he was even drawing up plays in the huddle to ride Love’s hot hand. Love scored 17 points in the second quarter, including four 3-pointers in a span of 2:07. James got the assist on two of those four.

Is it a common thing for a player to draw up plays in the NBA?
Is it something reserved for future aspiring coaching players?
did Lue/Kerr do that as players?

I've never heard of it...

Whether they do or not, that was a joke. I figured the meme would give it away.

I got the joke part.. but I can't shake the feeling lebron is trying way too much to assert his dominance and Alpha over blatt..
I get the feeling blatt is playing/actually is this "I'm cool with that" and thats just intensifying lebrons inferior complexities... not sure at all how well things gonna go..

I'm not seeing the way you did about that i wrote plays for him. He may just said "coach let me do this and that to get a shot for Kevin" and Blatt said ok. It's not like "hey you, gimme that board and pen. We're gonna play this way"
