Game 55 | Cavs (33-21) @ Bulls (33-20) | February 12th, 2015 | 8:00pm EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
LeBron looked too happy after this game.
Yeah I saw that too and was furious... you just lost BY YOURSELF an important game, at least act like you care... the guy is an idiot.

Why does Kyrie always lose these matchups against Rose? This can't happen in the playoffs.

The excuses in this thread are laughable. Do you guys ever admit a team won a game? Hey, we got beat tonight! Suck it up, the Bulls are good.

Am I worried about this team? No. Do they have weaknesses? Yes, they do. Depth is clearly an issue. With Kevin Love out, Tristan starting, they had no viable big man off the bench tonight. That's a serious lack of depth issue that was badly exposed tonight.

Unless you're blind, I don't know how anyone couldn't see that. That said, we got beat, its one game. The Bulls are good. Our vulnerable front line/bench is definitely a weakness on this team though.

Bottom line. Cavs need another big. Enough with the backup PG nonsense. LeBron was the problematic ballhandler tonight. Kyrie also plays defense a lot better when he knows he has a full front line behind him.

lots of over reaction going on in this thread. last game before the allstar break, missing your traditionally allstar PF, in chicago. meh.

Haven't you guys learned that the regular season doesn't mean shit? A 7 game series is a completely different animal than playing a new team every other night.

Read into this loss if you want, but it really is meaningless.

holy god yes. kyrie was schooled most of the first half. hopefully love comes back after the all star break healthy

This was an effort game. Guys were disinterested, lazy, tired, and defensive rotations were nonexistent.

Do we need another big? Yes. Worst bench in the league? Get the fuck out of here with that.

You just proved my point. I said they are lacking depth, this is not a revelation. You clearly didn't even read my post.

And they were without Butler, but oh wait, can't use that excuse! Excuses only apply to us!

You're right, I can't read. :celb (4):

Butler being out doesn't change how the Bulls have to play as Snell can slide in pretty seamlessly. Love being out means we have to play TT next to Mozgov or go really small, both of which completely change the complexion of our lineup. Mind you this is a team we've already beaten twice.

Its pretty fucking obvious we lack depth and won't win shit if one of our main players are out. But I and probably most people knew that before this game. So again, we didn't get "exposed badly".

Every team has weaknesses. Unfortunately we lost tonight, but we didn't lose enough to be called exposed. Turnovers, missed shots, foul trouble, no Kevin Love effected Blatt's rotations.

The Bulls were not going to allow us to win for a 3rd time. They were pretty much desperate.

This fan base is so up and down hot and cold with this team that its quite ridiculous at times. I can accept this loss and demand to win the next one which we should because we are home and Tony Smell won't be a factor.

The arrogance in this thread is so annoying. If you guys want to hate the Bulls fine, I don't care, I hate them too, but you can't have it both ways. There is literally nothing to suggest, at all, that we are clearly the superior team, where the Bulls aren't even worthy of discussion of honest competition. What evidence is there to suggest this?? How many titles have we won recently? How many playoff appearances have we made the last few years?

The way so many are writing off the Bulls, as if they're not even worthy of being mentioning is absurd. Come on! Um, what exactly have we done? Have we even seen what this team can do in a 7 game series?

Someone give me examples, outside of sheer bias opinions, why we're clearly much superior than a team with a better record than us. A team that's made the playoffs with their best player sidelined, now back, playing pretty good basketball. With addition of Pau Gasol, and the emergence of Butler.

It's one thing to think we can beat them, which is fine, but to sit here and suggest that the Bulls aren't even worthy of being talked about as a competitor. You can't be more of a flaming homer than that.

You're arguing my point even more! We were exposed with our lack of depth, you admit that, but then suggest we really weren't exposed.

Ooookay.
