The Cavs vs Bulls Series

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
If Rose would have played for a coach that didn't run him into the ground, maybe his prime would have lasted longer. Maybe not though because he plays reckless like Wade and Wade had a short prime because of it.

Can someone explain why it is preferable for these students to need to play one year of college ball? It just doesn't make sense to me. The best still leave after one year without earning a degree. If the goal was to make it so these kids get an actual education -- which frankly I see no reason to believe is true -- then you make them stay all four years. The difference on an application between 1 year of college and no years of college is slim to none. Moreover, you don't take actual classes that first year because of the general education requirements.

Sorry, no link, but Rose surgery successful and "minor" -- apparently should return to play within 4-6 weeks.
There is no way in hell that guys coming back this year. He was already making noise about his career after basketball before this injury. He'll take the time to rehab it and get it right for next year.

He'll play, he understands his window is closing along with that Bulls squad.

This has Grant Hill situation written all over it...

Wow if any of you the chance, look at the Bulls board and their comments on our game yesterday against Houston (around the NBA thread). All kinds of comments like calling Lebron a bitch and wishing he got permanently injured from the Harden kick, calling Cleveland a dump, and talking all kinds of shit about Cavs fans and the team. I can't believe I felt sympathy for Bulls fans when Rose went down. Won't happen again. Fuck those overconfident assholes. I hope we match up with them in the playoffs and wipe the floor with them.

Jimmy Butler is out for 3-6 weeks now.

Maybe I can summon a tear or two for Bulls fan.

I see it as karma. :cha (28): Bulls fans can suck a fat one as far as I'm concerned. When Andy got his season ending injury, they didn't feel sorry for us. They celebrated. And LBJ and Kyrie have missed time this year, as well. Can't wait to destroy their punk asses in the playoffs.

The Bulls are just making it easy for the Cavs to win the division and get the 2 spot away from Toronto because they won't hold steady. Cavs need to do their part now and actually win games they need to win.

You can't judge a fanbase by the meatheads. I mean if you read some of the Cavs game threads would that be a fair way for me to judge this forum as a whole? Overall I know there are some very knowledgable people here and I believe I have been able to engage in great basketball discussion. As far as hating on Lebron would you have it any other way. I am sure Cavs fans use to hate MJ. I don't wish ill upon Lebron but I would lie if I didn't admit that him bricking FTs yesterday made me smile. But Harden kicking Lebron in the nuts is bush league.

Bulls are legitimately falling apart. It seems like only the hawks or injuries could stop our trip to the finals

So many people called this at the beginning of the season though, I think it's weird that people are surprised by this. The way Thibs coaches that team, they are never going to be healthy enough to make a run at the title, they simply end up getting run into the ground by March. how many times do we have to see a Bulls player succomb to injury before we can universally admit that the Bulls won't win a title as long as Thibodeau is coaching there? Noah, Butler, Rose time after time, Deng was absolutely drained when he landed here... Everyone should've seen this coming by now.

How is has this not been picked up in the mainstream media as a narrative yet? I've seen it mentioned maybe once or twice, but generally whenever the bulls get mentioned in the media it's unfortunate this, injury prone that and no one ever seems to look at what the common denominator is for this injuries. it boggles my fucking mind that no one is taking Thibs to task for this.

Yea it seems that thibs just doesn't "get it" esp when u consider rose suffered the injury in a 4th Q blowout. Theres no excusable reason why he should've been in the game

It's preferable for the NBA teams imo. Get to see a player against higher level competition, as opposed to high school kids. I believe Trevor Ariza had a 100 point game in high school, he is no LeBron.

I think they should move to a two year minimum, with an exceptional player designation for guys out of high school. Set up an outside body, independent of the NBA, or NCAA to judge players that are worthy of being considered exceptional. Make the standards very high.

I'm talking only LeBron level guys make the list. We don't need Kobe level players coming in. In case there's any confusion, look at Kobe's rookie stats to see what I mean, and compare those to LeBron's.

As for Rose coming back in 6 weeks, that's going to be tough. He has to be thinking he can't handle playing pro at this point. Trusting his knee is getting harder and harder every time he hurts his knee. It is tough to see.
