Game 63 | Cavs (38-24) @ Raptors (38-22) | March 4, 2015 | 7:30pm EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I should have probably explained better, under Blatt's system, TT is more suitable to close the game. When Blatt coached Maccabi he also always closed games with the second big who was an athletic faster big. It's a way to put pressure on the offense by playing a high energy player. This is just the way Blatt end games and it worked really really well in Maccabi. :)

What worries me as that Maccabi Tel Aviv is a TOTALLY different world than the NBA playoffs. Worried about Blatt trying to get too cute at a critical moment.

Meanwhile, I'm still trying to figure out how Lou Williams goes video game on us every single time we play. I actually cannot mentally comprehend how he's made some of those shots tonight, just as I couldn't the last time we played. Just incomprehensible.

Pretty sure he was playing the first three games where we won twice.

Don't even want to hear it. They shot at a ridiculous rate the second half, how the hell would Lowrie have improved that? We took their best shot, on the road, with the refs on their side. Scoreboard.

He would have helped them considerably in the first half where they looked like a shell of themselves. I definitely don't consider this their best shot just because they were red hot in the second half.

I can't argue with Blatt's rotations at the end there, even though they seemed curious at the time. The spacing Lebron had off the p/r with shooters everywhere was ridiculous and he made all the right plays.

Seemed like an unorthodox move by Blatt there, but I guess the guy can coach.
TT was in the game, what spacing does he bring? If we're going to go with a PF to guard a C, at least let it be Love who does stretch the floor. I'd love to see a Love/JJ/LeBron/JR/Kyrie lineup. 5 guys who can shoot 40% from 3.

And a collective sigh of relief is heard across Ohio.

The Raptors gave them their best. And failed.

Some guys just get up for these big games featuring the best. If he did this every game, he would be a superstar. That's why he isn't.

FYI this is the NBA in the USA

Well it worked. I'm sure he will make adjustments where they're do.

Each win during this tough stretch is big. The next 7-10 days is so tough.. every W counts. Well done surviving that shooting and those refs. Well done indeed. We are playing with house money Friday. Even if we lose, we can come home and beat Phoenix and still win 3 out of these 4 which is more than acceptable.

Big win tonight. This is a playoff type win, there is no doubt. I feel like they applied some lessons from Sunday.

Now, we have a chance to take it to Atlanta. Let's do this.

Wow, Dion is beasting in that OKC game. 8-11, 18 points, 3 rebs, 3 ast.

Good win, but should it not have been easier, sans Lowry?

I hate it when teams stretch a game out like this. Just let it go.
Meh. Agree to disagree. gives our unproven guys a chance to feel some of that late game pressure.

unfortunatly right now LeBron is the one I am worried about at the FT line. Short term of course.

Now, time to jump over to ESPN for that juicy Heat-Lakers tilt.

LOL, jk.
