Satisfying the fans with moves always works.

There are plenty of guys out there. But they have to want to come here, not cringe at seeing Jimmy Haslam strut his way through the corridor, extending his hand for a shake.

Some guys that would fit very well:

Christian Ponder (jk)
Cecil Shorts
Andre Holmes
Scott Chandler
Derrick Morgan
Michael Johnson

Well come on man its not just the for the fans but improving the on-field product for the sake of the franchise. Hell if theyre satisfied right now then im scared.
 
I sense a Scott Chandler "we think he plays like a Brown" press release coming to an internet browser near you.

And you better do it quickly too, if it's not done in the first 72 hours of free agency they'll get antsy and emotional.

What makes you think they're satisfied? You can't spend to spend. It's not as if we're a few players away from a great-elite team

Of course Jimmy isn't a cheapskate. Have you seen the money he's spent in penalties and restitution in his fraud case?
 
My overreaction for the night:

Gonna get the #1 pick in the 2016 draft where there are no star quarterbacks coming out.

Gabriel, 36 for 621, was 3rd in NFL for YPC. 9th amongst rookies in yards (great group, btw). Can't put a ceiling on him just yet.
Hawk had 824 yards while not being used properly and Hartline needs to be Joe J from 2007, and he easily can be.

All with a shit QB.

Not to mention Jim Dray, another underrated player who stepped up in a starters absence, had 14.2 YPC.

No they're not sexy. Yes, we need a #1. Is he in the draft? Unless you're getting White, no. There are plenty of WR's to be had in the later rounds.

This is a pretty good post. We have very nice complementary receivers but we are lacking the big play guy. Getting a #1 type guy (White, Cooper, Parker) or even a Jalen Strong, Perryman later in the 1st early in the 2nd would look good on this team. We need to continue to add assets to the receiving group but the cupboard isn't as bare as people make it out to be.
 
The Titans re-upped Derrick Morgan this AM. Added Brian Orakpo as well.
 
Haslam, as the owner, not only dropped a billion for the franchise, he immediately committed himself to over $90 million in stadium renovations and had an active free agency last season.

If you're going to strut around here calling Jimmy Haslam cheap, you can, quite frankly, piss off. We don't need that garbage here.

FYI- The Haslam family donated a million dollars earlier this week to Breakthrough Schools; a charter school group in Cleveland. Just putting that out there for the Haslam is cheap narrative.
 
There are alot of adjectives for Haslam, cheap isn't one of them.

Just a tone deaf assessment from a guy who is clearly trolling at this point, so no need to really take it seriously.
