While it is true that with a lot of missed shots there are a lot of rebounds to go around, the Bucks were held to only 9 offensive rebounds. The lowest offensive rebound per game average this season was 8.9, so they held them to that low number despite all the boards available to grab. This is going to be huge for the Bulls against the Cavs, they absolutely cannot give you guys second chance opportunities.
While it is true that you can put Lebron on Butler and likely limit him, the advantage created is that Lebron is no longer the guy on Rose.
The offense is good the way it is, Rose is still the better offensive talent and Butler is always capable of stepping up when needed. The offense wasn't really a problem this season. It was the defense.
LeBron would only guard Rose on crucial possessions if it's necessary, I'd hope he'd never have to even think of guarding Rose all game as it's just not necessary. That's not to suggest Irving is a good enough defender, but Rose isn't the same player he once was and is shooting loads more 3's than he had previously.
And I think it's hard to say the Bulls offense is good the way it is. They had 11 points in the first quarter, shot under 40% for the game - at home. Good for them for getting the win, but a game like that would never be won against a better team.
