Both teams are stacked, GS and Hou that is, but can I blame you for low expectations, no. We lost Love and Andy, Kyrie is hobbling as well, it should be low expectations to be honest.

I'd rather play Houston, a 70% Kyrie can play like a 100% vs their point guards.

I had low expectations for OSU this year at the end (As did most everyone) and that turned out okay. Who knows? Hopefully the same thing happens. Would be truly unbelievable, though.

Gonna need much better shooting from LeBron to win the Finals regardless of how much he affects the game in other ways. The guy isn't invincible, nor are his teams. Believe it or not, he's been beaten in the playoffs before. More than he's won, actually. But that's kind of moving away from what we were talking about.

Looks like Houston is going to beat the Clippers unless things change big time in this game. Clippers look like a dog shit. Will be interesting to see GSW vs Houston if that is the case. If the Cavs make it past Atlanta, I am thankful we'll only have to play one of them.

Not saying Houston can't beat us. They are good, but I am just stating they do not win this serious (as it looks like they will) without one of the worst gag jobs I've ever seen in sports by a team, in the Clippers.

The Clippers are good too, they just beat the Spurs. I was starting to fear them coming out the West almost as much as GS, because this team just beat the defending champs, and looked like they were going to roll past Houston.

They basically did. Until the worst gag job I've ever seen, losing a 19 point lead at home, not against James Harden, against the roles players. That's just pathetic.

I still think GS deserves a lot of credit, and respect for what they've done.

That team is definitely the team we don't want to see. I want to say we can beat them, but I really don't think it's happening. Not saying no chance, to say no chance with LeBron is silly.

But they will, and should be the favorite to win it all.

I actually think a series against Houston would be a pretty good matchup for us. Look at how they play, and look at how our team plays post January. Shoot a high volume of threes, and rebound. That is both teams game plans, and imo it comes down to who has the better James show up. I like our odds.

GSW is a total wild card (without KL, with we would roll them) to me. On paper, I think we match up well with them, but if they catch fire, and we catch fire, I think their fire burns longer, if that makes sense.

The GSW match up would come down to how we defend Green imo. If he's going, we are in some trouble. Shump can make Curry work hard, but can't stop him, bobody could.

Trevor Ariza and Josh Smith are scarier than the Splash Brothers...

:chuckle:

Why did I even bother reading through this stuff?

next to Harden and Dwight.... Common don't twist it.

Anyway, if LBJ on top of his game for the final two rounds Cleveland's championship drought ends.

Who beat him exactly since 2007? Spurs?big three Celtics? great Pistons team? Dirk shooting out of his fucking mind surrounded by great vets? Orlando loss was bad but prime Howard with 4 shooters was a smart combination. If we see GSW in finals he should put Curry and and the Dubs in their rightful fucking place in the pecking order. He did it to Durant and Westbrook and should do it to first finals visitors be it splash, beard or lob city. LBJ is not Jordan but for the sake of a finals series with finals new comers he should assert himself at 30 and tell the opponent for the purpose of these finals I am Jordan and you are Blazes,Suns ,Sonics. I'm going to shit on you.
Edit--- yea Hawks are trash. Get out of our fucking way we coming for the ship

The rockets made them quit just like we made the bulls quit, they ripped out their souls in game 6 and it carried over to game 7, rockets showed amazing heart and character winning 3 straight gotta give them credit for not giving up.
(don't forget the clippers were a great team eliminating the defending champions ,they were no scrubs...)

I'm picking the rockets over the warriors to reach the finals, this team will be a nightmare for the warriors.

Houston big's will destroy Warriors bigs' on the boards on both ends, josh smith playing out of his mind on both ends will help a lot - Smith/Howard will destroy Green/Bogut imo

Klay Thompson will face his biggest's challenge in the playoffs and that's guarding james harden, that will exhaust him and reduce his effectiveness on both ends

Trevor Ariza good 3&D guy, he is a great long defender and will cause big problems for Harrison barnes

The only clear advantage GSW has is obviously curry vs terry, that will be a slaughter if they left 1 vs 1, I wounder what Kevin Mcale will do with that match up (maybe brewer who is a good quick defender)

Regular season is way way overrated , the playoffs is a new season.
6'3 curry will not be able to carry that team vs a very long and athletic houston squad

Draymond Green is going to destroy the mentally weak Rockets.

The Warriors are going to beat the Rockets so soundly that afterwards everyone will act like the Rockets weren't all that good anyway, kind of like Memphis.

Beverley would be essential to having a chance of beating GS imo. As is, I see it as a 4 or 5 game series.

GS will be rested for us.

As an Aussie sports fan I would love to see the Cavs play the Warriors in the finals. I followed Delly to the Cavs and have become a staunch fan but that match up is a kind of win/win scenario for me. I will of course be supporting the Cavs to the max however a loss to the Warriors would mean Bogut has a win which would be a slight consolation.

Look i'm selfish I have been pulling for a Rockets VS Cavs series all year. Nothing changes that for me, I want to go two finals games here in Houston. I will still fly to Cleveland for 2 games as well. 4>2

We just beat a very talented, physical Chicago team.

Slightly overrating the Bulls.. They could barely even score the ball lol. They'd go 8minutes at a time without scoring on multiple occasions. They were straight up garbage and without a Rose miracle bank shot wouldnt of even won a home game

Rockets would be a waaay better matchup over GS. Healthy this team would be a favourite over both but Love and Andy are gone and you don't really know what'll happen with Irving, he will most likely be hobbled still. To beat GS without Love LeBron and Irving need to play at their best every game
