Tonight made me think of a couple of quotes from Dellys college coach Randy Bennett at St Mary's.
"Don't count Delly out.....he's not finished getting better."
"The greatest winner I've ever coached"
"I've never seen a player at this level (college) with such a high BBIQ"
"He's about the only guy I've ever coached that gets absolutely everything out of his body"

Oddly enough, both Stephen A Smith and Bayless picked the Cavs to win game 2. That may have been before they knew Kyries fate, but it was I think 2 days ago or so.

SAS also unloaded on delly for minutes saying amongst other thinghe couldn't "handle the pressure" and was scared.

"It doesn’t take much to know when dudes can't handle the pressure," he said.

"When you watch guys – particularly guards – you want me to tell you how easy it is to snatch somebody's heart out of their chest?

"When you make them scared to put the ball on the floor – and that’s exactly what happened to Dellavedova.

"My God, you're a professional basketball player.

"Is it too much to ask for you to be able to bring the ball past half court?"

And when Bradley Beal said Delly was one of the best defenders in the league (something BB said last year even) SAS tried to dismiss that comment.

I can't lie, I am biased, I don't like what SAS and others like him are doing getting trying to gun down people for a living.

I dont understand why people listen to a thing that dude says
 
I think the Warriors collectively going out of their way to avoid giving Delly credit is proof of how much he's in Curry's head. Yeah, Curry might have a huge game next time out and yeah, he might embarrass Delly a bit, but him pressing could also be a good thing for the Cavs. Curry is the MVP, but now the pressure is on him to show how valuable he is.
