I've always hated how media-types treat the Knicks like they are some sort of down-on-their-luck storied franchise and not some team that won their only 2 titles over 40 years ago and have been a toxic dumpster fire for the better part of 15 years.

Isn't LMA only possible here if Love opts out and leaves? Isn't Love likely to opt in?

Yeah I imagine Aldridge is a back up if Love leaves, but I have no idea how we'd even pull off a sign and trade for a 20 million dollar contract. Haywood only gets us to 12.5 million. Plus I think even if Love leaves were still over the apron so we technically cant even sign and trade for LMA.

Couldn't we sign and trade Love in a deal for LMA?

I get what you're saying but Kyrie, Shump, Tristan, and Delly are all young and still have plenty of room to develop.

Don't let us having a lot of big contracts fool you into the idea that we are somehow an old team or a team without significant upside still.

Harris is a just a guy. If he stays around and develops a niche, great. If he's necessary to help make a trade work, great.

Nothing to really get worked up about either way.

Why do we have to surround those guys with old guys though. I am tired of watching old teams. It seems like LBJ says he want to have one type of team and play one type of way, but then he gets here and only wants to sign old guys and only wants to play ISO ball.

San Antonio, Knicks, and Lakers in the same sentence.

Broussard just threw 20% of the NBA's teams into the mix in one fell swoop. If that's not throwing shit at the wall, I don't know what is.
Multiple sauces dood

Small moves, but I really like what the Hornets have done so far this offseason. Without any more drastic moves they'll have a rotation of:

Walker/Ridnour
MKG/Booker?
Batum/Williams
Jefferson/Zeller
Hawes/Zeller

Not a contender in any sense, but they are making some decent adjustments. Maybe they move their pick for a better fit at SG.
