Like in the ECF?

Look I get JR had a shit finals, but some people are acting like he was useless. Without JR catching Fire game 4 against Chicago we probably go down 3-1 in that series. Doesn't mean we couldn't have still won, but it would have been much harder. JR showed up in spurts in the playoffs and remember when he came on board we were, what? 19-20? Obviously a ton of factors like Moz, shump, and Lebron resting play into that, but can we stop acting like JR wasn't a big contributor to us getting to the finals? that said his mopey attitude in the finals did piss me off, but unless we plan on KI and Love being out every year we won't ever have to give him that much responsibility again

Yes, like every game of the season. I take Korver 100 out of 100 times. I can't imagine what he would shoot if he got the shots LBJ would get him.

I could see Perk going to play for Doc again. Other than that, Koufos is probably the best out of that group, but isn't their cap situation pretty bad right now?

I'm not sure, but with the money they have tied up in Paul, Griffin, and Reddick, it can't be very good. I feel like guys like Sims, Withey, and Perk could be had very cheap though. Biyombo and Koufos are going to attractive multi-year deals worth a decent amount.

If we could find any way to snag Redick from the Clippers, I'd be ecstatic. Yes, I understand that the chance of that happening is minuscule, but let me dream.

Indy - Haywood
Clippers - Hibbert
Cavs - Redick

Make it happen.

If this is legal (don't know Hibbert's contract off the top of my head), this is a fantastic deal for all sides in my opinion.

If Mo gets S&T it means he won't be coming here.

Ugh, I wonder if Jordan would trade him to Dallas for fellow UNC alum Felton

Thing is, we had one player and that too a prety good defender in Shump on Korver throughout the first two games before he got injured. That was the kind of attention that Korver got from us. Now, imagine him playing with LeBron, Kyrie and Love, all of whom would attract double team like no one else did with the Hawks. Korver would be absolute money playing alongside LeBron. A LeBron James - Kevin Love pick n pop, with three shooters around them is my ultimate basketball fantasy!

Now, I am not saying we shouldn't bring back JR. We totally should as he was great for us last season until the finals. But, if you ask me to choose between Korver and JR, its not brainer for me. Korver would be a legit 50+ from 3 guy playing with LeBron.

It's not like Mo can get S&T'ed without his consent. If he wants to come play here, he will. If he doesn't, he won't. This news out of Charlotte doesn't really change anything on our end.

Doesn't mean it will happen.

When I first read about JJ(I believe it was one of your post), I wasn't impressed.

Looked deeper into it, his numbers and 3pt percentages.. He'd be amazing here next to our big 3.

Doesn't seem like it's possible, but you never know.

It's ultimately about where Mo wants to go. He is unrestricted. Probably can get more money via S&T, but if he really wants to be here, he will. Maybe we can S&T with Mike and maybe an extra piece, and that could theoretically save us the MLE right?

It never said a S&T was imminent, just said they are "exploring".

There's plenty of time to use the Haywood contract. I wouldn't let not getting Rodney Stuckey, Mo or another spare part ruin your offseason.

I'd be surprised if Haywood is traded before Aldridge signs. Once he signs, the trade market opens for some teams and cap space is needed. That's where the Cavs have the opportunity. if no suitable player deal materializes this month, they can get a trade exception or perhaps a future pick.
