The West is going to come down to Houston and Golden State again, with OKC as a wildcard if healthy. They're the only teams out west that haven't lost significant parts. The rest of the conference is eating at each other.

OKC aren't wildcard for me.

They are the favourites from the West, if they are healthy.

They have now added one offensive weapon down low and that is one thing they were missing previously. They now have someone who can get them easy buckets. Also, from whatever I have read Billy Donovan seems to be a good coach. He would improve their ball movement.

I could see Perk going to play for Doc again. Other than that, Koufos is probably the best out of that group, but isn't their cap situation pretty bad right now?

They are over the cap right now.

Why on earth would we want any team to be as good as or better than the cavs?
More else like we can stop it from happening, because it may or may not happen. Cavs fans are scared of LMA landing with the Heat, I say bring it because we can beat anybody, good, bad, or even better.

Read something about a three-way sign and trade between Clippers - Mavs - Pacers for Hibbert - DeAndre - Monta Ellis.

Who has acted scared of LMA landing with the Heat?

I am not worried about Heat even if they get LMA. Now, if they get someone like Davis or KD or Curry or CP, then yes. But LMA isn't really that better than Bosh and Bosh - Whiteside is a pretty formidable frontline already.

If lma goes to the Spurs they will meet us in June.

He is 6'11 with shoes man -_-
And Tristan is 6'8" with shoes.

Point being he is a huge man with elite athleticism and wingspan. CP3 isnt the only PG that can set up lobs.

Nor do lobs have to come from PG's. They can come from players who are taller than norm at their position and can pass over their defenders like Dirk at PF and Parsons at SF.

I'll take Korver 100 times out of 100 over JR.
Like in the ECF?

Look I get JR had a shit finals, but some people are acting like he was useless. Without JR catching Fire game 4 against Chicago we probably go down 3-1 in that series. Doesn't mean we couldn't have still won, but it would have been much harder. JR showed up in spurts in the playoffs and remember when he came on board we were, what? 19-20? Obviously a ton of factors like Moz, shump, and Lebron resting play into that, but can we stop acting like JR wasn't a big contributor to us getting to the finals? that said his mopey attitude in the finals did piss me off, but unless we plan on KI and Love being out every year we won't ever have to give him that much responsibility again

The 25 people who disliked my post about LMA should consider Miami Heat because the east is weak.
I don't believe that's them acting scared. Just disagreeing with your notion. I disagree as well.

Sure the East is weak, but you still have to go through the Cavs with a weaker roster around you. In the West, it's anyone's conference to win each year, and every FA feels like they might be the piece to put somebody over the top.

LMA on the Spurs is more likely to win a championship than LMA on the Heat or any other EC team not named the Cavs.

LMA isn't going to the Spurs. He wants no part of playing center, and the Spurs right now have nobody able to play center other than Duncan, Diaw, and Matt Bonner. That is less than convincing. The Suns are young and ascendant. I think the Spurs take a step back next season and Pop uses that as ammo to retire along with Duncan.

I'd be stunned if Aldridge went to Miami, honestly. I just don't see how they can pay Bosh, Dragic, Wade all max deals and bring in another.

That, and Miami is a questionmark at the moment.

Wade has some left in the tank, but has bad knees and needs to rest throughout the year to even make an impact in the postseason. Chris Bosh almost died, and is overpaid as well.

Aldridge would be their best player by far, but it's tough to see him taking a short deal and then going to Miami a year later.

Even if he did, I'm not afraid of anyone in the East, nor the league in general. If the Cavs are healthy, they are the best team in the league.
