Game 5 | Knicks @ Cavaliers | November 4th, 2015 | 8:00 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Mo Williams has been a huge reason we have won the last two games.

Tremendous pickup.
He was solid for us as a scorer at first, I agree, but he really slowed us down IMO, the pace he created as the PG, especially at the first half - was slow and bad, and got us into bad offensive possessions against a defense that was ready for us.

In one of the team's first offensive possessions back from halftime, i saw Blatt shouting at him to run and get the ball up faster, and as he did we started to get much better offensively and get some easy points in that good 3rd quarter, and then when Delly came in and got into the PG position - the offense was faster and much much better.

I would just like to thank Fisher for using a 12 man rotation which didn't allow any of his players to get in a rhythm, thanks for the W.

Just got home from the Q. Yes,this was an interesting game. The CAVS had no rhythm offensively most of the game. But they did play hard on d for the last 3 quarters. That's how they won.
Some observations:
1. OK, Australia, Delly is surprising me. He still sticks his nose in there defensively, but seems improved on offense. The 2-man game with TT is valuable. Hope he can keep it up.
2. TT has continued to be a rebounding machine.
3. Mozgov just doesn't seem to be in the flow yet.
4. Mo isn't the same player he was when he was here before. He's way better!

Lots of bitching about LeBron...

but he came into the game with the Cavs down a couple in the fourth after struggling all night, and scored 9 big points and played really good D and we won the game.

Even in a game where we were down most of the game and had to make a sizeable comeback to win, LeBron only played 35 minutes. We're doing a really good job managing his minutes,

I agree, last year this game he probably plays 42 minutes considering the ramifications of Ky, Shumpert, Jr.

He is taking it easy and I am not sure how people do not realize he is like this every year he starts. After midway or if we are in a seeding hunt he becomes a different player. This is not the I want a MVP LeBron anymore this is I want a title foe Cleveland LeBron. So his usage and when it mattered he turned it on a bit. I have no issues with him. He did look pissed most of not all the night though.

in other news hubie brown still sucks as an announcer.

What an ugly game until late. I was truly getting antsy, especially with just the lake of effort against the Knicks of all teams. However, I saw a more familiar effort down the stretch and got the good vibes back.

Of course, James is James. If he had to bust up his sleeves to do so, so be it. But I gotta show love to some other others. Mo was just 1 off of LBJ's point total and had 22 and Love/TT both had double-doubles against a sizeable front court.

UGLY game, but a win is a win.

They took a big step back offensively today lots of standing and dribbling

I thought it was interesting that although the offense struggled defensively they did a great job int he final 3 quarters of the game.

Delly needs to stay aggressive with our reduced back court, for most of the first half he was just passive, maybe trying to get some motion going but it just wasted time on the clock. End of the half he looked more assertive and things started to fall into place becasue we had someone attacking the defense.

if the cavs want to get respected like the warriors, maybe look at their body of work and play to it.

Once you play in the finals the regular season games seem so boring.

How does Hubie Brown suck as an announcer? He provides some of the best analysis in the game. He doesn't say ridiculous incendiary shit like JVG and Reggie Miller and he provides the kind of insight a former coach can give you.

Weird seeing multiple people saying that. What are people looking for in an analyst?

Man, I just cannot get interested in the regular season this year.

The results aren't really in the balance in the majority of these games. This team will win 60 games or close to it and cruise through the Eastern conference and the season just really doesn't matter until the finals.
I can't get enough of this team. Enjoying it while it lasts.

While I think Hubie is a knowledgeable basketball mind, his announcing is sub-par.

He announces a game in a run-on sentence. It's a lot of "There ya go" and "Ya gotta like..." And he basically calls the game in a cheerleader mode instead of simply describing what is happening and why.

I prefer Jeff Van Gundy. The right amount of ball knowledge and the right amount of off-topic "humor." I know he has his flaws as well, but Hubie seems like the old timer that tries to stay interesting at all costs so people will pay attention.
