2015-2016 Around the NBA

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Rockets are in some real trouble, I think. They just do not look right. But I don't mind it. I really dislike the way James Harden plays the game.

i know its still november, but if the rockets decide to blow it up, would love to get ariza for the cavs..

The Zinger starting to look like a ROY contender. Great draft
doesn't it feel a little dirty realizing the knicks actually made a smart decision for once?

tho i guess after all the losses that org has piled up over the last decade, sometimes you have to let em win for once.

seems a bit silly to dismiss a team missing their starting pg, first big off the bench, and superstar center for much of the season.

maybe we should go back to the other week when everyone was counting down the days til memphis blew it up. that worked so well.

Ya the draft is crazy can't think of a bad pick in the top 10 maybe kiminsky but I haven't seen him play.
Towns/Porzingis look like MVP candidates down the road

Did Memphis panic fire a coach? You keep hanging on to the Rockets being contenders all you want. I don't believe in the Howard+Harden combo until they show they are serious about leading a team.

EDIT: And huh? Ty Lawson was their starting PG. So they've got injuries to two backups....who doesn't have that excuse?

What the hell did I just watch. Both the Clippers and the Raptors are two terrible, horrendous, godawful teams.

Its amazing how awful Jamal Crawford is, I really hope Griffin wasn't serious about trading for him during the offseason. That trade rumor kinda made me gag, I just can't see how Doc continues to play such a net negative player.

@gourimoko what do you have to say about this? I believe you were gung-ho about trading for him, even if we brought back JR. Guy has been straight garbage all season.

Gung-ho? No, I was gung-ho for us acquiring talent. Crawford, West, Williams Johnson, Jefferson, etc...

I had no interest in Crawford post-Mo Williams/Richard Jefferson acquisition. I saw no reason to make the trade at that point. Mo Williams, JR Smith, and RJ is enough. Couple that with Delly and Shump and Crawford becomes unnecessarily redundant.

Had we not gotten Mo Williams, yes, I think getting Crawford would've made sense.

With respect to his performance this season, I don't know if that's more to do with him or with the Clippers under-performing in general. I watch every Clippers game, since I live in Los Angeles and don't like watching the Lakers. I think blaming Crawford for their failures is shortsighted at best.

Beyond that, it's well known that Crawford does not want to play for L.A. he may be under-performing because he wants and expects to be moved by the deadline; not to say that it's purposeful, because I doubt that, but that he's not gelling with the team.

On the whole, there is something seriously wrong with that Clippers team, and if they don't get things adjusted quick I could see them making some major changes.

What exactly is Michael Jordan thinking? He has Kaminsky, C. Zeller, Hansborough, and Hawes on his team.

Charlotte just needs to blow it up, tank, and start over.

The Curse of Kyrie Irving. Seriously though, that team is the biggest "fake contender" I have ever seen.

The Clippers will not win anything. You are absolutely right, there's something fundamentally wrong with their team.
Doc Rivers cannot be the coach and the GM. Plenty of former players make terrible coaches. Plenty of fantastic GM's have never played in the league. Plenty of owners do not make sound basketball decisions.

Their whole organization is fucked. They're seriously disillusioned and cursed. The Clippers will always be the Clippers.

Thank you Donald Sterling for your hatred of Baron Davis. In essence, thank you for gifting us Kyrie Irving.

How's it feel to trade an unprotected pick and see that player turn into a fuckin showstopper?

Only in Cle......Clipperland!

Memphis is so poorly constructed. They would be a good team before the invention of the 3 point line. They have a very good defense, but any elite offensive team will beat them in a 7 game series. Pretty easily too. And in a conference with quite a few elite offensive teams that isn't a good roster build. They are on the treadmill. 0% chance they win a championship. Their offense is just brutal for long stretches.

Iguodala is playing the best basketball of his career right now.

Why? They are a really young team as it is. Why blow it up when you're a young team winning games? To go be Philadelphia?

Well. we used this strategy in the finals.

Hope the guys with bravado remember that they inexplicably shot horribly when we left dray, Barnes, Iggy etc open.

They normally hit those. they are huttng them again. that strategy won't work. yea, we were up2 to 1 without kyrie and love, but those games were outliers for their shooting, kyrie and love may not have been huge pluses Bc of their defense, and gsw dominated us the last three.

Yes, we are better with them, yes,we are betterif not all players are at40minutes, yes, we would have benefited from literally anyone other than lbj producing points, but gsw shoots better than they did and 17%of the way through the season, curry is still shooting an unheard of.460 on11 3pta/ game

Cavs would have won the series with a healthy Kyrie and Love
