Game 16: Cavs @ Hornets, Thursday, November 27, 2015, 7:00 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
No.
Because he was mismatched the whole game and got obliterated time after time.

So you're saying our max contract PF can get schemed off the floor.

What does that mean for us in the playoffs? We better not run into a team that can exploit that ?

He does pass it almost 90 percent of the time from that position, gets an assist 8 percent of the time. I am curious if after he kicks it out, how many times the Cavs end up scoring on that possession, regardless if he's the one to get the assist. Either way, I think the 17 percent shooting from there is just an aberration due to the extremely limited amount of shots taken(0.1 makes per 0.4 attempts).

Thank you for the stat though!

Small sample size mostly. In 2013-14 he was 61/132 (46.2 FG%) from elbow.... with 93 assists there, second most in NBA behind Joakim Noah with 106 (the season some had him in MVP conversation)

Yes. It means we should stop watching now and find a new hobby.

Probably true, though he was terrible there last year as well. May not be right offense for him to use that skill, perhaps

Well thankfully we have a backup plan that we've seen works. PHEW!

Different teams have different players and different styles of play and different players get hot or cold at different times.
What wins playoff games is realizing this fact and reacting to the way the game develops.
Of course there are ways to stop Kevin Love.
There are ways to stop LeBron, too.
But stopping him (and him still getting 18/16) meant losing the game for the Hornets, ultimately.

Yeah because somehow Love inhibits in someway from winning? He can guard Marvin Williams...

If you were banging your girlfriend from behind and she said she was going to come in five seconds, would you turn her around and tell her you wanted to suck on her jugs and jack off instead because you saw it work for some guys in a porno once?

Right, not much positives there last season either lol. I agree it's not necessary for that play to even happen. It just happens that Minnesota ran their offense through him at the elbow often times. 896 elbow touches that year (!!!!)... most in the league

he didnt get the ball there last year . it was the problem.

You get the ball to love in the elbow and he passes it off. then he can continue on into the paint. look to post up or drop back to the three point line.

it forces the defense to make decisions.

After the game, Vardon asked Blatt "What was the Calculus that made you decide to sit Love in the 4th quarter"

NONE, JOE. THERE WAS NO CALCULUS INVOLVED. DON'T USE THE WORD CALCULUS WHEN YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT IT MEANS. IT DOES NOT MAKE YOU SOUND SMART. YOU ARE A JOURNALIST. YOU COULD COME UP WITH 100 BETTER WORDS THAN THAT. THERE WAS NO CALCULUS INVOLVED, IDIOT!
