Bron played under 30 minutes in three games the bench actually added to the score.

Can you go over what you found? I'm Assuming those were the game bron sat the fourth and we had so much momentum our bench also skull fucked them

That is literally garbage time.

I told you this last night man...anything that came after LeBron exited the game and never came back in, I did not count, both in the positive and the negative. Game is already decided in garbage time, so the numbers there don't matter to me.

When games were still close and on the hinge of being decided, our lineups without LeBron James on the floor outscored opponents in 21 total playoff games by 1 point.

That was what I found.

Detroit -10
Atlanta +17
Toronto +6
Golden State -12

The best game they ever played was the one they won by6? Or 15?

By 6.... you.. really had to ask? Don't you remember? That was a career game for 3 different Raptors players.

The game they won by 15, we were just sleepwalking (Irving/Love)... You could pin that loss squarely on both of them and I'd agree.

...I know it's garbage time, that's my argument.

Lbron sits and our bench goes off, that's garbage time.

uhh yes I.. really.. had.. to.. ask.. your.. subjective.. opinion

This a joke?

But why are you arguing that if I am literally telling you I did not include those numbers?

Also, that last sentence is only true if LeBron never comes back in the game.

Ok. I accept they didn't matter. That is the fair way to account.

I will look at them more closely if I have time

YOU JUST SAID TO IGNORE THE STATS AND WATCH THE GAME.

I never said "ignore the stats." Please quote me where I said that.

Can you bring forward a concise argument about where this conversation is going? You don't see the circular whack-a-mole that's going on here, or you don't really care?

Don't bother...I already did...

Just for some reason you choose not to believe the absurdly hard work I put in for such a pointless debate on an Internet forum about sports...like a slap in the face...

...dude you have a weird way of accepting a concession

You mean like when I went through the whole Charlotte game play by play and it got shit on?

You don't think it's fair for me to do my own research?

Everyone should just trust everyone's claims without looking into them?

I posted stats, you told me to go watch the game instead.

I think that's pretty clear.

When I posted a play by play of the game yesterday, you ignored it and brought up stats.

You'll argue either one of it benefits you

Why do you feel it's necessary to post with a confrontational condescending attitude?

If you think I have an agenda where I would lie about reading simple play-by-play box scores, so be it.

But all I wanted to do was see if the hunch I had that the team with no LeBron on the floor didn't "lose leads", which you said they did, and if that feeling I had was right. And it was. But I said I could be wrong, and was willing to admit if I was.

I have no agenda to lie on a sports forum man...

And I don't think I ever actually complained about your Hornets stuff...I just didn't know what the hell was going on in the thread and was lost...

Cool.

I didn't lie about my stats when I posted them and you did not accept them at face value.

I can simply see something you don't, as you did.

Now seriously, If I apologize to you, or say I'm wrong in the future, can you please not double down on going at me? It's inappropriate

That's not telling you to ignore the stats; I'm telling you your interpretation of those stats is wrong because your interpolation of what happened to create those metrics is counterfactual and goes against the empirical evidence we have readily available.

I think that's pretty clear.

...

No I didn't, I went into why your interpretation of the play-by-play was likely wrong.

You'll argue either one of it benefits you

I'm arguing both, consistently. But the game itself is more relevant, it's the observational data.

Why do you feel it's necessary to post with a confrontational condescending attitude?

Why do you feel I'm being condescending? Seems like a constant theme with you.. Keep it about Irving as the admin suggested.

Because you post like an aashole?

How many people does itr have to be a problem with before its your problem?

Yes, you argue both. When one benefits your narrative. Again.

Mfw you argue analysis of play by play

What the hell does any of this really truly have to do with Kyrie Irving? It's a fight over statistics, game viewing, and arguing over the importance of a small number of regular season games.

I sure as hell hope we don't have to spend the rest of this season with this crap after every single game. I'd really like to enjoy these threads. The reason I have regularly visited this site since I first found out about it. It should not be more painful to read then when we were in those multiple years of tanking, but, it is. This really really needs to stop. Agree to disagree and let it go. Chill the hell out. We won a damn championship, lets get to enjoy it.

Anyways, @wuck did a wonderful job of creating this thread to replace the old train wreck of a Kyrie thread. But, it's happening again, only since comparing Kyrie to inferior role players was made taboo, now we hammer away on a single stat or two over and over and over again. Are we not allowed to have nice things?

Please stop ruining the Kyrie thread.
