Which teammate will have the honor of soaking his ankles tonight?

So lbj wore the Kyrie jersey

Kyrie has had two great games not in slump anymore

Hmmm

Consipiracy

With all of the LeBron/Jordan talk around lately, the funny thing is that when the Cavs needed a Jordanesque performance, it was Kyrie that delivered it. I know many here didn't see Jordan, but that was what made him the GOAT. Whenever the Bulls needed to score, he wasn't looking to get other guys involved or work the refs or anything else. He was going to score. Every time. And you couldn't do anything about it. That's what Kyrie did tonight. He looked like he grew up tonight.

One of the defining games you'll use to describe Kyrie's greatness over the years.

Cavs down 10+ with LeBron in foul trouble early, Kyrie explodes for 42 points on only 22 shots and carries the Cavs on his back in the 2nd and 3rd quarters.

Only 14 times in the last 33 years has a player scored 42+ points in a playoffs games with 22 shots or fewer attempted. Every single one of those times the player took more then 9 fts that Kyrie did tonight. Incredible scoring performance.

Byrie was in his bag tonight

I am aware this sounds like bull shit but I'll put this here anyway. First few minutes of the game I told my wife that Ky was going off for 40 plus tonight - because LeBron was clearly still struggling early and I was certain Kyrie would see that and take over. And he did and perhaps saved our season. What a performance.

MVP for this game. Got us back in it and over the top. I'm sure he could have taken us home too but LeBron finally got things together.

I can't believe I ever doubted you Ky, you motherfucking god Kyrie
Came right out of a shooting slump right when we needed him

:kingofhill:

Kyrie Irving won us this game tonight.

The team didn't dig deep and look at each other or some spiritual shit.

This was one guy saying "Nope. Not on this night. Not in my house."

He kept us in it in the 2nd by himself. And once he got us all the way back in the 3rd, the other guys started to look around and say "Alright, we're on board."

He literally willed the rest of his team into believing.

He rowed the damn boat to shore by himself.

This is why you need Kyrie Irving.

Exactly. Couldn't help but think after the game that had this been LeBron's first stint, this would have been a 20 point blowout.

Kyrie kept the team afloat when it got to 16 and LeBron was on the bench. And he absolutely took over in the third. Not only did he score, but he got LeBron out of his funk by getting him a couple easy ones. Just an all-around fantastic game from him.

Maybe his 2nd best playoff game behind game 5... or third behind 5 and 7.
