What happens with Wade will tell us if LeBron plans on staying past next year. If Wade doesn't sign with the Cavs (as expected) LeBron is gone. I don't want to hear the excuses. No way Wade chooses any team (aside from Miami) over LeBron unless he has some insight into his future.

It has no telling actually. They'll both be on one year deals and choose their own fate afterwards. You expect Wade to sign some multi-year deal after a buyout? Nah. If LeBron plans on beating the Warriors, he'll reach out for help at any given opportunity and ignore the next year.

Why? He can only sign a one-year contract for min with Cavs and it wouldn't give them any Bird rights. They could offer only the taxpayer mid next year. Whatever he does, he'd still be free to sign with anyone next year if he's bought out and not traded for.

Partly that, and it appears people are running with the reports, fake or not, that LeBron despises the fact Gilbert supports Trump. Put 1 and 1 together, and we have more LeBron to LA "evidence." Who knows, I just know it's getting old and LeBron could easily shut this stuff down if he truly wanted too.

All that really tells us is that at minimum, if the report is true, someone had loose lips and they didn't want that getting out. I'm not convinced it's true but I'm also not convinced it's not.

I tend to think there could be some truth to it, although I might hedge on the "100 percent" aspect of it.
 
Honestly I think even LeBron doesn't know what he's going to do. Saying he's 100% leaving is just stupid.
 
LeBron left Cavs and there was many options Miami or others to compete for championships. When LeBron left Miami it appeared to be many teams under the cap or had assets to dump salary to get under the cap to compete for championships.

Now we have a GS team with 2 top 3 players and 4 top 10 players. In what world does LeBron leave to sign with a new team that can manage being under the cap and beat GS?

Unless he is taking a major pay cut as well as others and not even sure that would be enough.

His best shot is here. Some mention Spurs but there locked in to 90+ mill 2018-19. I here Houston but they sign Chris Paul and their over the cap

LeBron is a smart man. He knows moving isn't the same as the past. He knows his competition isn't Garnett Dirk Duncan anymore
