LeBron always talking about hometown and setting examples for the youth. Being a father figure or hero. How do you do this by leaving those same kids heart broken when you leave?

LeBron plays whatever narrative is convenient for him. 'I'm Coming Home' was a great story, but apparently the novelty has worn off for Bron and he's looking for an exciting new story.

My opinion is if he leave cool if he dont that's even better. Me personally I don't think he leaving but after 2010 I always have my guard up. But looking back at 2010 at our roster it wasn't pretty the man averaged 40 8 and 8 and we still lost to the magic. Watching that barbershop series with him and draymond it was telling about the situation with dan Gilbert and the letter. Hell watching the game Lebron first came back when he was with Miami that shit was brutal. Even the family was like hell nah lol but he came back any way and maybe it was because we had a younger talented squad at the time he won us a ring and we had one of best years of sports. Coming back from 3-1 on the so called best team of all time that shit was fun as hell. I havent really had that much fun since Lebron early years or when the browns went 10-7 and we were winning games so I'm very grateful. Going to finals the past 3 years have been great but seeing how this is cleveland we can't never have good things for long. Our second best player and one of the nba's most exciting players want to leave in the middle of our finals run want out and I still don't know why it just don't add up so at this point I'm ready for whatever

right even in victory there's always the cloud of is he leaving? This year is going to be hell...every loss every cryptic tweet etc...is going to fuel speculation. We could win the Finals and it will still be well now he can leave because he's given them 2 titles. I want him to stay and I dont think he really knows yet but if he goes I hope he gives the Cavs an indication unlike the last time.

Well Akron will always love LeBron and his foundation is every year so it really doesn't matter..

However, all this other conjecture is just fans either preparing to get mad or just really bored. I don't think LeBron knows what the hell he is going to do. Lakers could be a disaster this year. Derrick Rose knees could finally find the fountain of youth and look great again. Kyrie could decide he doesn't want to be traded. The Warriors could have health problems, etc etc.

The point is its not worth really getting upset or putting too much thought in it. Unless you're just positioning yourself to be angry or have the "Aha, see I knew it all along!" moment.

I can't wait for the season to start so we can get over this slow ass off season.

Bingo man. The 09-10 I didn't enjoy at all. Media ruined the whole year for me. Not this time. Forget 18-19 season. Just enjoy every game

What he's done is a like a fairytale and would only happen in movies...and despite his flaws, I'll forever be grateful.

Since getting a title, the only thing that matters to me is that those clowns in the Bay Area lose...and If Lebron feels he has to leave to make that happen then so be it.

He's done more to set examples for the youth than just about any other modern athlete. Given his own time and money to send thousands of kid to college on full scholarships, mentored kids from third grade through the completion of high school, started a school dedicated towards at risk children, stood for social equality, started a program so that parents of at risk children can complete their GEDs, used his platform to advocate for things he believed in, won awards from the likes of the NAACP and the NBA for community service, etc. He has been nothing short of role model, and that's true whether he finishes his career in Cleveland or not.

Lebron doesn't owe me a thing. Anything owed was paid in full when he brought a title to Cleveland. I'd love to see the story play out where he sticks around and finishes his career in Cleveland. But if he moves on I'm not holding it against him. It would be good if he made up his mind and communicated his intentions but contractually he isn't required to do so, and I assume he could give 2 shits about Gilbert.
