Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I would gladly do that TT for Wes Matthews deal.

Sadly Rick Carlisle, Mark Cuban and Donnie Nelson aren't braindead idiots.

Mavs fans like TT and they hate Wes Mathews cuz he's not helping the tanking effort and doesn't fit the timeline. Don't underestimate how much greener the grass is on the other side.

When did our slide begin???

When we brought this piece of shit back into the lineup.

Lue is a moron.

Having DJ in this game wouldn't have changes the end result but would have no doubt made a double digit difference on what happened. TTs inability to finish around the the rim, poor anticipation on help defense, lack of defensive rebounding, and not altering shot at the rim continue to be an issue when players are getting into the paint at will.

TT is a slug. Tonight he overachieved and we still got crushed. He needs to go asap.

What happened to TT? He had like 7 and 7, in the first, and then finished with 8 and 8, in 23 minutes? Did he vaporize? Did he spontaneously combust, like a Spinal Tap drummer?

TTs number are fools gold. Even when he occasionally has games now that he gets some offensive rebounds he has so many negatives that it off sets what he does. Literally, how many times does he miss point blank shots at the rim if the dunk isn't there? He misses defensive assignments (yes everyone on this team does but he has nothing else to offer), and he is not a good defensive rebounder no matter what anyone says. Just watch the game.

He is a see ball, go get ball type of rebounder which works on the offensive boards, but getting position and boxing your man out before releasing to get the ball is the way to get defensive rebounds. Watch TT in a crowd when the other teams shot goes up and lots of times he isn't making contact with anyone then goes after the rebound. Maybe bigger more athletic people like DJ can get away with this. He has the ability to challenge some shots but this is a whole other issue and a couple more paragraphs.

We are just soft inside and its more obvious with a weak perimeter defense.

Our time with TT has ended - trade him. There's got to be some value for him out there. Sell the point that he's "a great offensive rebounder" and neglect to tell them he has awful hands / can't shoot / horrific at free throws and I'm sure we'll find a deal!

He started to yell at the Toronto bench and tell them "they're not big enough" and then went to shit.

I’m about done with the bench experiment.

I’d start TT, go back to our normal starting lineup that always at least didn’t get their ass locked every night. The only stretch of the Toronto game we even looked decent was the 3 mins where TT was in for Crowder with the starters.

May not be the best starting lineup against GS but against the rest of the league it probably is, at least until we make a move.

Yup. And even if that means Love is a little worse offensively because of the move, then that’s a sacrifice we must be willing to make.

Totally agree with this. It also frees up the bench unit to play non-shooter like Wade and Green with Frye (or even Love if his minutes are staggered). Thompson might have limited shotblocking skills, but he still provides more resistance at the rim than Love is right now.

Starting Love made perfect logical sense when the Cavs had multiple non-shooters on the floor like Rose and Wade. But now with IT back, the defense needs to be shored up. Until TT is traded he should start, which has the added bonus of bolstering his trade value.

Everyone knew this was a bad experiment from day 1. Just as everyone knew that the only place on this team for TT was with the starters (or not in the rotation at all).

Similarly, we all knew that Rose and Wade staring together was bad from day 1. This board could coach this team better than our current staff. Sad.

If we had better coaches and front office, we could have a much better record and much better continuity as a team. There's absolutely NO REASON to "experiment" with something that you KNOW will not work. None.

Consistency >>>>>>>>> experimentation.

Everything about this is hilarious.
The correlation between TT coming back and the complete demise of what we saw before he came back in terms of ball movement and beautiful offensive sets, and solid team defense, can't be understated.

TT is just a horrible fit for this team, period. Add to that the attempt to integrate the horribly failing IT and you get the kinds of losses and blow-outs we've been witnessing.

They can't move this guy off the team soon enough. Get a real rim protector who can score even a little (besides put-backs) and it changes the entire dynamic of the team.
