Cedi going to be falling off a cliff here soon and sliding to the end of the bench . I can sense the vibe he brought that fueled him playing over his head is about wearing off and the young vets will leap frog his minutes soon. Don’t be surprised if he’s back to seeing DNp’s and garbage time only minutes within a few weeks if not sooner .

It is hard to say, he plays hard, if he plays defense he will get mins. I would see his time drop once Love comes back and playoff time it I see him 20-25 mins through the rest of the season .

It’s really not that far of a stretch. Adams is a monster. Stats don’t always tell the story with him because they conceded a lot of rebounds to russ

^ This. Adams is one of the league's leaders in CONTESTED REBOUNDS, if I'm not mistaken. Love on the other hand has a fairly big percentage of uncontested rebounds.

EDIT: Here's the current top12 players in the league in CONTESTED REB%

Adams is the league leader, Love is 45th.

This is what I said, but I'll Still get disagrees because it doesn't fit someones notion or belief.

Individual total rebounds don't mean much... especially when you are ranked number 27 in total rebounds as a team with two "elite" rebounders who's one of them only role in the NBA is to rebound.

Saying that Love is by far a better rebounder is just flat our wrong and that's why raw stat numbers in this case is misleading.

The more I learn about stats, the more confusing it gets. Basketball is a game where you can't analyze one particular thing in vacuum. Context matters. There are so many subtleties, even in rebounding. That uncontested reb% might not tell the full story either (since Adams' contested percentage could be inflated because of the fact that he leaves a lot of uncontested ones for Westbrook). If you really want to know who the best rebounders are, you'd have to look at a LOT of different stats to get the full picture that's not misleading in any way.

Put Adams on a team without Westbrook and he is probably averaging an easy 13/14 rebounds a game. It is one of the reasons why I like Adams, does not care about his stats, can you imagine the likes of Howard, Drummond or Boogie happily allowing their PG to pad stats at their expense?

Love players whose impact is greater than their stats suggest, and Adams is certainly that, but for the majority of casual fans and box score watchers it is a stats driven league.

Heck I might prefer Ernis Kanter over Adams . He plays 6 less minutes than Adams has 1.5 more boards per game and he can finish a game as well with his 87 FT% shoot big compared to Adams he needs to get pulled in crunch time due to his putrid 58 FT%. Those stats ain’t raw, they real as it gets .

Kanter TRB 22.95%

Adams TRB 15.66%

based on a analytics view Kanter supply’s much more bang for your buck going forward .

No one in their right mind would take Kanter over Adams like ever

Yeah just for dumping TT's contracts so it won't ever happen unfortunately (I think Kanter's expiring)

Nah, he's got a player option for next year he's not turning down.

I wouldn't move TT for Kanter in a million years. Neither can shoot, but at least TT isn't a turnstile on defense. Kanter may as well be a traffic cone.

The Kanter effect of getting in Greens face offset any negatives . He have Draymond so flustered , worth the price of admission

Just wanna point out that Adams leads the league in box outs.
