He’s actually someone I’ve seen play for a while now. Saw him in college while I was getting my masters.

Always liked how long he has his bat in the hitting zone. Allows him to cover well vs LHP and generate nice power for how short he is, and that’s a big reason he’s put up some real nice swings vs LHP so far.

But he pops on the field. Fast as hell. Covered a ton of ground in right center earlier in this game and was flying on his triple.

But man. Hentges threw a couple sliders to Daniel Murphy that gave Blue Jays players Andrew Miller ALCS flashbacks. He is filthy, everything he throws moves a ton.

I saw on one of the prospect lists, I forget which one, that said Hentges is the Indians future closer. Very interesting.....

If he finds any sort of consistency with his command, he will be. He made 2 pretty good hitters in Murphy and Desmond look real uncomfortable. But one pitch would be 3 feet outside, the next would be right on the black knee high, and the next would be belt high over the plate. Needs to keep cleaning that up post TJ.

Sure, my Mom is coming into town that weekend, but even more reason to get out of the house.

Its so funny you are so close to me right now. Like I could grab a bite after work and literally run into you and not know it.

Any chance he plays for the Tribe this year?
