Beyond that, the Cavs have completely exceeded expectations on a #8 draft slot and should be very careful what they do with that new found asset value. I don’t think another swing at a prospect would be a wise use of that asset surplus......if they could trade it for a more certain outcome (Zion or a young AS) sure.
At this point, I think Collin has played himself in to a position where he should be, at minimum, given consideration when making our next selection. Not necessarily built around yet but Morant makes less sense seeing Collin’s sustained scoring and efficiency improvement. Thankfully, the available players on the wing are relatively good matches from a skill set standpoint, given their defensive versatility and complimentary playmaking skills.
Let’s see Zion playing with men instead of boys
