He made me practice that turnaround fade for hours cause he was so good at it. Such an easy shot to get off on lazy defenders. He was a great post up guardHe was one of my faves. That 2009 year man, he was one of the best sg's in the league. Very good defender.

Eh everyone changes careers essentially, athletes have an easier time than most. This is a lot of schizophrenia and some bipolar and probably drugsI think the problems here go beyond just mental health and drugs. Imagine training your whole life to do one thing, and then at age 30 you can't do that one thing anymore. What do you do with your life? Some athletes use their connections to transition smoothly into a cushy second career in some sports-related issue. Other athletes develop completely new passions and follow them. But then there are athletes who really don't have a life outside of their sport...and that puts them in a tough place mentally, even before you add in factors like drugs and mental illness.
Dude literally kick started Red's head like it was a Harley. In broad daylight in the middle of traffic. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. The video where Red was dancing for money in traffic looked much safer all things considered.Damn was about to post to see if anyone else saw the video. Shit was heartbreaking and disturbing at the same time. He literally got his head ghetto stomped in broard daylight in thr middle of busy the street and no one helped. He's lucky to be alive. Shit been down hill for him since. Hopefully the NBA or even maybe Dan can help him out.

Lotss of connections, people who have been there and have made it work around them, coaching and broadcasting opportunities, typically some capital to work with, appearances or whatever to make, lesser leagues to play in etc etcEasier time in what way? I mean, money, obviously, but other than that...specialized athletic skills don't translate into a "normal" career in any obvious way unless you're super famous and/or have the right connections.
So... the reason this is true is because someone heard the rumours before the press? How does that make it true? In fact yesterday i saw a piece on him that said they asked him directly and he denied. They ar

The guy who drove trucks for a decade is a lot more vulnerable when finding a new career than an ex pro athlete
