Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Bringing Garland back in to blow third game put Jose Mesa back in my mind, and that’s a painful memory

I don't know what it would take to stop JBBs "it's my fault that Okoro sucks so I must play him 29mins a game because I'm a development guy" mentality. Does Koby have to break Okoros legs?

We're up 96-92 with more than 3 mins left

Levert and Mitchell are playing off each other and Okoro is playing the 3-D role well

Levert just completed a And-1 4 point play from 3

For no reason at all, we bring in Garland, just because.

Levert doesnt touch the ball for the rest of the game as he assumes the Okoro role.

Garland coming off the bench cold, misses every shot he takes

Mitchell only has one possession where he get's to the line.

They had to take Okoro out. Warriors started using his man to double the ball-handler. That’s why LeVert got caught in that trap at the end of the game. They were just going to keep doing it until we adjusted.

“Just Because”…

How many coaches in the league you think are going to keep Garland out in that situation and time of game?

DG/DM and the rest of the guys will have to figure out how to execute down the stretch. They certainly haven't figured it out yet after 6 games

If they execute offensively late in games ag good teams w playoffs experience by January, at that point Im concerned.

love Mobley aggression Hope it’s sign of things to come. Hate. Wasting the clock every play, offense getting started at half court line , no movement Need more set plays for back ups

Note that just because the refs made an atrocious non call in the biggest moment of the game does not mean the Cavs don’t have their own issues. That’s the mistake people make when dismissing reffing complaints. Both can be true.

It's a 48 minute game. If we did what we were supposed to do, a bad call wouldn't have made a difference. We should be used to Golden State getting away with moving screens. Both can definitely be true. But as a fan of the Cavs, my biggest concern isn't the refs. It's how 3 games in a row, we've failed to execute. That call was wrong, sure... But we wouldn't even be in that position in the first place if we didn't fuck it up for ourselves. Braindead basketball on both ends. I would use the last 3 minutes of each of the last 3 games as a way to torture people into giving up information.

I think Mike is exactly right on this one. You can't close with 2 bigs and a guy everyone is cheating off of in LeVert. They're going to press up on the ball handler and we need to be better about generating good looks, but there's just no space right now.

Why? LeVert has been deadly from the corners. If they're cheating off of LeVert, pass him the fucking ball when you drive.

Garland is completely tunnel visioning late in games. Like blatantly "I wanna Make the Big Shot" stuff here.

Shooting has been and will continue to be an issue. It’s a personnel problem. Especially late in games. I won’t put too much stock into the last 10 games. Loook at last season.

Altman bears that blame, and will need to fix it.

He’s not playing anywhere remotely close to 29 minutes a game.

Trade Allen and we'll have a bottom 5 defense in the league. We also wouldn't get nearly as much back in a trade as we'd want.

People don't want to hear it and will freak out over me saying it, but if you're making changes to the core, then Mobley is the one who it makes most sense to trade. Even though he had a good game, long term you just can't have a good offense in the modern NBA with two non-shooting non-creating bigs. It doesn't work. Since Mobley can't play the center position, he's kind of the odd man out. Plus he would fetch more on the market than Allen anyways.

Everyone can get mad about it all they want, but you'll see in time. Mitchell can't be too happy having to constantly try to create something out of nothing with the entire defense keyed in on him every possession because our bigs are both standing in the paint and we usually play another subpar shooter out there too, like Caris, Okoro, or even Cedi unless it's a night he's hot. There's just zero spacing out there. You would have to have prime Curry/Klay/Durant at the 1-3 to salvage that spacing.
Evan Mobley is the one who makes most sense to trade.
Now we’re in comedy hour.

Because our coach is an ass-clown.
