People need to find contentment with him just being a defensive menace and 15/10 guy. He’s shown little change in two seasons now… and there’s just not enough shots for him to get over an offensive hump in season.

Does he deserve the touches though? He brings very little if anything to the table offensively besides easy dunks. He is probably the 4th best option right now on the team- & his touches reflect that. I hope he turns it around because obviously he is our defensive anchor.

Last season was JBBs last chance and he failed miserably in the playoffs. A new season doesn't wipe the slate clean.

Exactly. What makes people think the Knicks wouldn't mop the floor with this this this year too. Nothing has changed besides Strus and I don't think he's fixed the issue that the Knicks exploited. JB is definitely not going to change anything up.

Missed the game. Looking at the box score, I’m amazed we had a chance to win against a good team when we shot 26% from 3.

First time they leave a shooter wide open... Okay, that's fine, keep on em next play. Second time... Third time... Fourth is a transition three with a 7 footer pulling up like he's Curry. So that one I can't fully blame on game planning. But even if that's the case, run better plays on the other end and then let them try to score on Mobley in the paint...
 
This was the game (with DG and JA out) that Mobley needed to step up with a 20-22 point 18 rebound game to help out DM. But he played soft as Charmin tissue. 14 and 15 wasn’t enough. His game hasn’t improved from last year, still getting bumped off his spot easily and his shot still looks robotic.

I don't think you can develop him without giving him touches though. Easy touches like lobs and easy dunks do nothing to develop him. They need to put the ball into his hands and ask him to create for himself or others. There really isn't any substitutes for game reps.

Then he does it later in the year, he has a game like you describe. What then??? You guys try too hard.
 
while Mobley could of played better, let’s not gloss over the 2-16 from 3 point land by Strus and Niang combined. Ouch. And JBB tech..ayayayyy.
