1 Round Mock Draft

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

You don't pass on Troy or Brady b/c you already have Charlie. That would be pretty dumb. That'd be like not signing Bentley b/c you already have Faine. Just b/c you have a warm body at the position doesn't mean you pass up an obvious upgrade.
Brady Quinn will be a bust. Mark it down. Every time he faces a good, NFL-like defense (Ohio State in the Fiesta Bowl, Michigan and GA Tech this year), he turns into Jake Plummer and can't tell which guys are on his team.

We must get Adrian Peterson at all costs. Trade up, whatever. I don't care. That guy is going to be a real player in this league and it would really make a difference in Frye's development if he gets a running back who can run for 1,500 yards for the next 10 years.

Lynch out of Cal is my second choice. Yes, even ahead of Irons from Auburn.

If Adrian Peterson is running behind Coleman and Andruzzi he'll be lucky to get 150 yards on the season.

GTech-23-38 for 246 yards for a 61% comp, no INTs and added a rushing TD

Mich-24-48, 234 yards, 3 tds, he had three picks but two of those where off the hands of Notre Dame WRs and not his fault.

05-19-30, 140 yards, 2 TDs, 64% clip

vs Ohio State, 29-45, 286 yards at a 65% clip.....some where I cant seem to find why that is a bad game. Zero picks

what were you saying again about him not knowing which team to throw too?

He didnt play a single bad game against any of those teams, managed the game very well and put up good stats.

Brady Quinn almost has more yards passing and more passing TDs in one year than Troy Smith has in his entire career at this point.

A team that is based on running and defense, Smith still doesnt have a better competion % than Quinn did last year. He is ahead by 4% this year, but Quinn has almost 100 more attempts.

You are dilusional if you think Smith is a better QB prospect than Quinn. Scouts Inc, Quinn= #1 Smith isnt even in the top thirty prospects. Kiper is the same as somebody else pointed out.

Smith is the fourth best senior QB according to Scout, and Brohm would be higher as well and Leak if he wasnt 5'11''.

I'd take Brady in a second.

trade down, draft 1. Nasty defensive end 2. O-Lineman

Id agree with that sentiment, but you have to find a team thats willing to trade up and depending on where we draft, we might not be in position for that..

well if carthon keeps calling the plays, we shouldn't have to worry about not having the pick to trade down with, but that's only half the battle. I don't think we won't find a taker for a trade up, but it's all about what we get back: i.e. I don't think we get back 2 first rounders.
The only thing that bothers me about the browns is that I think we have 8-8 talent and we'll go 5-11 this year.

How many passes has Frye thrown that has not been his fault, at least half of them. When it comes time to talk about quinn its not his fault. :thumbdown

I agree with that..

How sweet of a draft would it be to get Quinn Pitcock and Justin Blalock in the 1st? We'd fill two HUGE needs for awhile...
