It is true that they were all underperformers, but I wanted the young guys to play bigger roles so the team would be very good, and then they just got traded because they never got it.

I probably should've had Dion and Bennett and some entire Cavs rosters as my avatar, but I also hoped they would turn it around. I think I had Jack as my avatar twice (once prior to the season he got traded, once when it finally happened). I may have had Deng as an avatar for a bit. @glockcoma probably knows this history better than me, because he laughed (online) about it more than once.

I had Embiid as my avatar for awhile, and just look what happened there.

I've never had one of my favorite active Cavs as an avatar.

I think the only Cav to defeat my avatar curse is Antawn Jamison. He defied it, continuing to throw up slop at the rim during the downside of what was otherwise an impressive career. That was a depressing trade deadline.
