It's a combination of Westbrook sucking and the Sox knowing how to hit to the opposite field on him.... and rightly so. The Indians should be doing the same damn thing... hit to the opposite field, but the only hitter to do so was Hafner in the second. EVERYone else is trying to pull the ball; a big nono against this pitcher.

What a play. You have to give the guy kudos for that amazing flip.

I sure do hope this game isn't a sign of the future.

Why did we pay a #4 starter and a DH that was having shoulder issues at the time 10+ mil a year each and not pay either of our CY winners?

I know all about not being to spend, blah blah blah.... But we could have taken the 20+ mil Donkey and Westbrook are making and gave it to CC or Lee.

Let me guess fellas..... Hindsight is 20/20.

It must have been SOOOOOOOOOOO hard to see Jake is a #4 or #3 at best with his career 4.31 ERA and Pronk was having his worst season in a while when we ridiculously overpaid him.

Well, Jake was much better than a 4 or 3, but you'll never admit to that.

Could you possibly over-simplify this situation any more? It seems like the only thread you read this off-season was the one you chose to call me out on for some reason. The reasons for this have been discussed innumerable times over the last year.
