I'm surprised people assume Miami is the favorite now. Obviously the injury to Rose helps Miami. But Boston, OKC, and the Spurs are all better overall teams. Miami has their big 3 - but so does each of those other teams, along with a better supporting cast around them, and better coaching. Besides that, the Spurs and OKC would also both have home court advantage over Miami.

Seriously, wasn't anyone watching the last two times Boston and Miami played (before the last game when both teams rested their stars)? Miami was at full strength and Ray Allen barely contributed. Boston beat them in Miami and then destroyed them in Boston.

Sure, health is a concern for Boston and the Spurs, and even OKC now with Harden. But assuming they are at top strength, I'd pick any of those teams over the Cheat. Forget the Pacers, though. That game tonight clearly exposed them.

The same shit happened last year. Have we not learned the playoffs and regular season are COMPLETELY different?

I wouldn't be surprised if Dallas ended up beating OKC in the first round

Well, if we truly get the same shit as last year, then San Antonio will play the role of the Dallas experienced veteran team. Taking the Heatles out while Bronnie dies down in the moment. It'll again be epic. :chuckles:

well using that logic....

didn't you watch boston play chicago?! chicago beat them 3 times, twice without rose and once with rose chucking a ton. and their only loss came without rose and hamilton.

apparently boston won't even get to miami!

shitty day for the pacers. but wait until the series comes home. we're gonna see a different team

Anyway, last year Boston had injuries to deal with in the playoffs, or things might have been different.

There was no "logic". Nowhere did I say that "Boston beat Miami in the regular season, therefore they will beat them in the playoffs". I only meant I was impressed with how they played Miami. Yes, regular season success doesn't always translate to the playoffs, everyone knows that. That doesn't mean we can't make observations based on what we see in the regular season. For example, I think many of us could foresee the matchup problems we had with Orlando in the 2009 playoffs, based on the regular season games against Orlando. Those didn't magically disappear just because it was no longer the regular season.

Regardless of how Miami and Boston played in the regular season, I still believe Boston is the better overall team (when healthy) and I'd pick them in a series over Miami.

more 3s from ibaka please

i dunno why derek fisher has stepped on the court tho.

you don't think Wade pulling down Rondo and hurting his elbow made a difference in that series?

Hubie announces like he's telling a never ending story.

Love Hubie, while he might not be the best orator, he has forgotten more about the game than you or I know...

I could careless if he stumbles over words and shit, he knows his stuff.
