I think the Indians need to take a serious look at signing Johnny Damon.

2011 Overall Numbers - 150 G, .261 AVG, .326 OBP, .418 SLG, .744 OPS

Those might not jump out at you, but look at his numbers compared to Duncan, Hafner, and Brantley against LHP:

Damon vs LHP in 2011: 120 AB, .275 AVG, .365 OBP, .375 SLG, .740 OPS
Duncan vs LHP in 2011: 102 AB, .245 AVG, .316 OBP, .363 SLG, .679 OPS
Hafner vs LHP in 2011: 103 AB, .233 AVG, .259 OBP, .379 SLG, .638 OPS
Brantley vs LHP in 2011: 140 AB, .214 AVG, .282 OBP, .243 SLG, .525 OPS

The Indians made the decision to count on Santana, Cabrera, Choo, Hafner, and Kipnis. They aren't hitting early on...no offseason move short of acquiring Pujols or Fielder would have changed this slow start.
