i was just going off the eyeball test. he did get behind butler but fought back well.

He definitely fought back and as I type, got out of the inning. But "bad Ubaldo" gets behind hitters and eventually gets burned. He needs to get ahead in the count for his secondary pitches to be effective.

Ubaldo has never had good command, don't know why it is expected all the sudden. He has lived off his dominating stuff, which isn't as dominating anymore, thus he is not as good.
