Gotta give Lenzelle Smith a lot of credit for coming up clutch in the last minute. He played like trash for 39 minutes but came up huge when it counted.

In the end, this team just doesn't have enough fire power unfortunately. They're built to beat anyone in the country on any given night because they play terrific defense, but their offense is piss-poor. Just not enough shooting or finishers.

An amazing win though. They had scored 15 points through 19 minutes of the second half, and just ripped off that last minute to stal the win. It was kinda like watching the Heat steal wins in the last 2-3 minutes of a lot of their games this year. They just turned on a defensive switch and decided Notre Dame wouldn't advance past half court anymore.

I was at Madison Square Garden last night. That ending was incredible. The Garden went nuts. Such a great game. Our seats were right by Gene Smith and Thad's family. My buddy had seats right next to Gene.
