Yes. Speculation. The same guys who first broke that Haden would be suspended last year are saying that another "big name" Browns player will be suspended. He also heard rumors that Gordon may have failed a urine test.
Some posters on the OBR have considered Trent Richardson as a possibility given the large number of RBs the Browns have signed lately.
Either loss would be a big blow.

Wouldn't there be a better chance that it's one of the guys that actually got arrested like Desmond Bryant since I believe he just has his court date as well? Not a huge player to us but he signed a decent sized deal with us this off season.

I believe the quote went out of the way to say that it was a "significant" player. Andre Knott was talking about it and saying it wasn't Haden, but still a big name. Im not sure that either Bryant really fits that title.

I can't help but think the "big name" murmurs are being a bit overstated, and this ends up being Bryant for his arrest and legal issues. I guess he is somewhat of a big name because he was one of our first FA signings and is expected to be a starter.
People need to unbunch their panties before we know anything concrete. What's the point in getting all worked up right now?

Chatter in the OBR from a potential troll is that it may be TJ Ward.
Edit: The above is dated. Lane Adkins (sp?) indicated that its not Gordon or Ward. The potential troll stands by Gordon, so it's anyone's guess.

Andre Knott also said it wasn't Haden. Someone like Bryant seems too obvious. The Browns have been very active in gathering running backs. Wonder if it could be Richardson.

Nothing new to add to the past couple reports, just wanted to add that Lane advised that Gordon's camp says he's clean, and Ward isn't the guy either.
I saw on twitter that Greg Little and Joe Haden left for a weekend trip to Vegas.....Little has a noted history of being a bit of a dipshit; no other proof, and Lane hasn't mentioned him.
I would look on the OBR forum for more info, but that forum has turned to a trolling pile of crap. While I still enjoy the premium info and the Draft Brew over there, pretty sure I'll stay over here for Browns talk.

I don't want to get OT over here, but the strategy over at the OBR seems to be to let the trolls work to drive people to paying the monthly fee. I don't respect that approach, hence, I won't ever pay for insider info as long as that is the approach.

Agree to disagree, Rappsoda; I'll respectfully think that the trolls are independent of the OBR folks. That said, I will agree that they are running rampant in the OBR forum, and now the Cavs and Brew which I really enjoy BTW. Like you said, rather than you and I arguing the merits of ATI, we should stay on topic....well not on topic, but more killing time until pads go on....
Considering Ray Horton, his effect on our D, and the resulting buzz when his defense starts to succeed; who might be his heir apparent? He could be as good as gone next year, but he is one of the highest-paid assistants in the NFL. Anyone have any inklings of info on who the 2nd in command to RH might be?
