What league would you want?

I'd gladly join whatever RCF Fantasy Basketball League would have me. Since it seems like the upper division is already established and fully stocked, count me in for the JV league. Do prefer to use the same format as the official RCF league, so that there can be some possible crossover or 1-2 slots open for the top JV teams to move up to the official league.

I'd love to get involved in an RCF basketball league as well. I'm not interested in doing any of this salary cap or contract stuff though. Just straight draft a team and roll with it. I need some competition.

For the RCF league that is already in existence, it would be cool to have relegation similar to how soccer works. Something like the bottom 2/3 teams get kicked out and replaced by the top 2/3 of the other league.

I suggested this for several years. I'd still be in favor of it, but I'd like to reiterate that this league is so competitive, the last place teams are still completely active and trying like hell every year. It's not like those leagues where the bottom four dudes give up halfway through the year.

Then maybe just the very last place gets demoted, then? Of course everyone in the Rookie league would love this but at the end of the day it's up to the members of the Vets league.

Wait....so is this going to be a money league? Is the Official RCF League a money league? I'd prefer a money league but I'm cool with anything.

Kypus is the commissioner of the RCF FBB League. I am leaving decisions up to him on the last place player being demoted. I can tell you we have seen fantasy hoops players go from a top three team one season to a bottom three team the next every single year. There are no weak links, just bad luck.

RCF FBB League is a full time job. I've never seen a waiver wire so closely tracked in my life. If you don't snap a guy up within a half hour or so of an injury or even a sniff of his stock going up, you miss out.

It's a lot of fun though. But you def can't take a day off, much less a week. Forget to set your lineups and you probably won't recover.

I know I came in last. I'm still willing to do my bad karaoke punishment so I can stay in the league. You lazy bums never picked me a song.

I would love to be in a normal fantasy basketball league. Sign me up.

Are we getting a second one going?

I PM'd Kypus, directing him to this thread. Let's see what he has to say about a connection between the Vets and a possible rookie league.

Regardless, I'd be more than happy to run the 'other' fantasy league. Or certainly at least want to be a part of the league.

So apparently there is a "waiting list" - so there can't be a connection between the Vets league and another one.

Hmm, I mean, we could always set up another one, either using the site I suggested or ESPN or Yahoo! something like that.

Yeah let's just set up another one. I used Yahoo last season and it worked really well. Very easy to get use.

If you set this basketball league up on ESPN, and it's free, let me know, and I will be in.
