Rockets-Grizzlies tonight on NBATV. Western conference finals preview?

Chicago beating the Clippers by 14 in LA going into 4th WITHOUT Gasol and Rose.

Clippers are paper tigers and will always be until they can play consistent defense.

Chicago on the other hand will be the #1 seed in the East because of their defense. So they most likely swap picks with us.

So did you not watch the Clippers at all last season? Blake Griffin was third in MVP voting. Just in terms of shot creation, he proved able to that just fine as well. While that is best evidenced by game play itself, consider that Griffin had a higher percentage of unassisted field goals than Kevin Love, Anthony Davis, Paul Millsap, and Marc Gasol.

Lakers up double digits against the Hawks. Our win may not be as good as we had hoped...

I really don't think comparing individual wins and losses in a pro sport that has a ton of games like the NBA (or MLB) is all that productive.

Milwaukee might be a playoff team in the East. Out of all of the young teams coming in to the season I felt New Orleans and Milwaukee had the best chance at making the playoffs. New Orleans for the obvious reason of having a great, great player. But Milwaukee had the tools to be a really, really good defensive team which most young teams can't be.

Really? Other than a few individuals, I don't see a good defensive team. Long, maybe. But defensive is a stretch. They're going to fight with Brooklyn and Charlotte.

Ok, so my point was if any of these "they have a great young core" teams was actually going to be good, the best hopes were New Orleans and Milwaukee. That doesn't mean those teams will actually be good because really young teams rarely are and most "young core" players turn out to not be core players at all. But Milwaukee had/has a CHANCE to be a good defensive team, which alludes almost every young team. And as of right now, that's exactly how its playing out. Milwaukee is second in the league in defensive efficiency.

I've watched every game this season and he is inconsistent at getting his own shot

that conference is fcuking stacked. any one of them could go. hindsight will make it seem otherwise.

the nba is all over the place right now. a loss is a loss, a win is a win, and even then it isnt painting the whole picture.

what matters is concistency. I dont give a shit if we beat a team by 40, i care how we do over sizeable stretch. But games like atlanta will become more consistent.

Anyone know the last player to average at least 3 blocks and 2 steals a game for a season is? Davis may have a chance, although the 2 steals a game will be rough to keep up.
