What does those 3 being HOFers have to do with anything? My point was that Teague, Horford, and Millsap are all guys that are able to get you a bucket when needed. They're all able to score in isolation when the game gets tough. To simply discount that team because they don't have a "go-to scorer" or an "elite talent" is lazy and misguided. They're a hell of a team.
Lazy and misguided? I am expressing my opinion.
What does 3 hall of famers, that you know, have won 4 titles together have to do with anything? Gee, Let me think, I don't know, maybe a lot????
You missed my point so badly. Never did I knock Teague, Horford and Millsap. I get it, they're good players. Better than Manu, Duncan, and Parker at this point? I don't know, you could make that argument.
But those 3 have all been superstar talents in their career, have won titles, and the way they play is different. The season is marathon for them, so you're going to see spurts from them that's not always going to be great. But make no mistake, they are all capable of still cranking it up on a very high level, when needed.
They know how to win, they know how to turn it on during the right time. Just because they're older now, and less talented than they were, doesn't make them that less dangerous.
When it comes playoff time, these three know what it takes to win. They've done it, Atlanta has not done anything yet. If you can't see a clear difference between the Spurs big 3, and Atlanta's, then you have no clue what they hell you're talking about.
That's fine if you think Atlanta can win it all, who knows, maybe they can. But please, 3 guys that are going to the HOF, that have won titles together, is a hell of a lot different than you seem to think.
