2014-2015 National Champs

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Virginia Tech being absolute garbage is really hurting the cause, though. They might not even make a damn bowl game.

Perhaps Cardale Jones should play linebacker?

Losses don't get much more painful than what just happened to Ole Miss.

Really not a ton of hope to make the playoff. We'll be behind almost every other one loss team. That's how bad that Va. Tech loss looks right now comparatively.

The only way OSU has a shot to get in the conversation is if they beat MSU. They also need Nebraska to keep winning and keep a high rank for the Big 10 championship game matchup.

Becoming more obvious that we need the Big 10 to get their shit together given that quality wins are the key element.

The states of Illinois and Indiana are a black-hole right now. (Northwestern, Illinois, Purdue, Indiana).

I'm withholding my projection until I see where we're ranked after the MSU game. That will tell us where we're at. Since the committee clearly values quality wins over anything, winning that game would skyrocket us (one would think).

OSU up to 13 in the meaningless AP poll. Not surprisingly, Ole Miss is 12. I figured they would drop in right ahead of OSU. Virginia Tech still stings..

Some really big games this week.

OSU and MSU, Kansas State and TCU, Notre Dame and Arizona State for 1 loss match-ups.

Not to mention other intriguing games with Bama and LSU and Baylor and Oklahoma and Oregon and Utah.

I figured Ole Miss would be ahead of us too. I expect the committee to do the same.

But like I said previously, if we beat MSU, we will leave the 2 loss teams in the dust.

Pretty much have to root for Kansas State. If TCU wins that game they are basically in, or at least guaranteed to be ahead of OSU, unless they have a really bad game against a team they should beat. But they've already played the other good teams in the Big 12 and this is their last big game.
