Am I the only one that remembers how terrible the D was last year? We've got some crazy high expectations when a top-20 defense isn't enough.

1st one definitely was. Defender had his back to the ball and pushed the WR before the ball arrived.

2nd one was questionable.

I guess they give up about 40 less yards/game, but also the same amount of points as last season. I am just not a fan of a quarters base. Makes your LBs have to cover a lot of ground.

You've said it yourself how good Darron Lee looks in this scheme, he'll look even better when another rangy LB in 'Kwon is starting next year as well. I was in favor of anything that brought the corners onto the line, that 10-yard cushion was infuriating the past couple years.
 
Maybe the Buckeyes can bring in Brady Hoke to recruit them an offensive and defensive line?
 
So their was a holding call at the 44 and it got moved back 3 yards. WTF?
 
Defense needs to step up, this is ridiculous. They can't get off the field
