2014 Cleveland Browns

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I hope that's not a testament to the offensive line post-Mack.

Damn, he would've been a great addition to this offense's already deadly run game as well as the struggling return game (punt/kickoff). Not to mention, him playing on the other side of Gordon or in the slot would be a nightmare for teams to matchup with.

He would have been deadly to the locker took too as well as being overrated.

I disagree with the overrated part.
Anytime u add a player that needs to be game planned for to your offense, it's a plus.
Even it's just running him in motion on a basic run play, he makes the end or the linebacker stay wide and that could create huge holes for the running game.

Not to mention he has elite return ability, we have no one on the team (that they are willing to let return kicks) that is a threat to take it to the house.

I'm glad the Browns didn't overpay but I totally disagree on him being overrated. Especially in this offense which is big on misdirection and disception. Harvin would have been a great piece. As for the locker room stuff...that's why u only offer a little in the trade. If it blows up you aren't out of a lot.

Sounds like Vincent Jackson is on the trade block. Teams are calling the Bucs about him.

Granted I didn't watch the whole game today but from what I saw it appeared the WRs came back down to earth. They have played way above their skill level to date and today reminded all of us just how thin this group is. We have a bunch of little guys and an older player on the downside of his career as our receivers. All of them have talent but all of them are complimentary pieces. In addition to that, Hoyer played like an undrafted journeyman QB today. Let's hope that doesn't continue.

I was actually more disappointed that the TE's disappeared today. Jacksonville was last in TE coverage, so there should be no reason that we couldn't gash them with our TE's. I'm not sure if this was on Hoyer, Shanahan or the TE's for not being able to get open

Probably because he's not that good of a WR. He drops a lot of balls and is extremely streaky.

Yes, he is. But if they aren't asking too much for him and we can fit him in (don't know his #'s) there never is a problem having a 6'5 RZ target across from our star, top 3, 6'3 WR in Gordon.

But once Gordon comes back, you think it will open the doors for Cameron/Hawkins.

If Hoyer hits Cameron or Poyer gets the f--- out of the way of that punt, we may be looking at a different final score today.

If I'm Pettine, I have a nice chat with Tabor, that's for sure.
