Walter Football: 11. David Fales, QB, San Jose State

SI: 4. Marqise Lee, WR, USC

Bleacher Report: 10. David Fales, QB, San Jose State

Draft Site: 3. Teddy Bridgewater* QB Louisville

Mile High Report: 3. Bradley Roby, CB, Ohio State

CBS: Tajh Boyd, QB, Clemson (Both analysts have us taking him)

SB Nation: Austin Seferian-Jenkins, TE, Washington

As you can see the national pundits don't believe we will do very well this year and most of them don't have faith in Weeden. Where do you guys think we finish?

Sounds like if we need a QB, the 2014 draft should have multiple good options. Better than anything in this class.

Man... I really hope the several prognosticators are wrong here... Am I the only one who doesn't see the Browns in the top 8?

On a side note, if they are that high, the extra 3rd and 4th could help in landing Bridgewater.

Can we at least get to preseason?

So if Weeden fails, we're going to take a QB named "Fales"...sounds like a plan that can't miss.

Would be pretty sweet if we actually did land Marquise Lee though...

If we take an Ohio State Player in the top 3, the internet might crash.

Only in Cleveland...

Actually, only on national football draft websites.

Not just Cleveland.

That said, any mock with Johnny Football in the first round isn't something I'd take all that seriously. It's mainly just a list of who to watch this year.

Besides Bridgewater, I like two QBs from the Pac 12:

1. UCLA QB Brett Hundley
2. Stanford QB Kevin Hogan

Not sure if either of these guys will declare next year, but they are great QBs.

Great is a term I would use pretty loosely here.

holy shit really, we already have a mock draft for next year.. fantastic.

can we go back to talking about the draft last week now?

If we have to move UP for a QB (personally I think BW3 will be fine, but I am already irritated by this so I'll address it), do you think a team with a top three pick is going to move down just because we're dangling a 3rd and 4th?

Negative.

I would say that Washington/St Louis set the bar for a move-up for a Franchise QB, multiple 1st round picks are pretty much a necessity. Unless Haslam ORDERS LomBanner to pull this off, I highly doubt CLE is in the mix for a big trade up for a FQB. That said, I think BW3 will show plenty of his OKST self in this Norvffense; or shall I say I am keeping my fingers crossed.

At least I waited until a week after the 2013 NFL draft to post something about the 2014 NFL draft....I'm actually proud of my restraint:thumbup:

Weeden would have to be just horrendous to put Cleveland in position to compete for the top overall pick.

He can't be THAT bad...can he?
