2014 Training Camp

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Watching that video reallllly will make me sad if Gordon is suspended long.

Everything Hoyer did outside the throw was fugly :chuckles:

Great toss, great catch, solid coverage... Hoyer just back pedaled for his "drop back".

It seriously was. The toss was nice and the catch was great, everything else was ugly. *Snap, stare at Gordon, stare at Gordon, stare at Gordon, weird looking backpedal, release.*

Shit.... Looks like we could be losing Desmond Bryant for an extended amount of time.

Browns DE Desmond Bryant missed practice with a wrist injury.

Bryant is getting a second opinion on the wrist, which may require surgery. It is a tough break for a player that had his 2013 cut short by an irregular heartbeat. Bryant is out indefinitely.

And so begins the annual injury parade before the season even begins

Sigh, every freaking year it's always a defensive piece too..

Phil Taylor, Chris Gocong, Dqwell Jackson, etc

Took my son tr training camp today. Missed the big fight near the end. Both QBs looked like trash. I'm hoping it's our D, but they both looked like backups.

That's unfortunate, I was expecting a big year out of him.

^ That's the worst thing I've ever read. Pathetic.

The passing game is going to be ugly without Gordon. There is no way to sugar coat it, no matter who starts vs the Steelers. Jordan Cameron is going to get double teamed, and Hawkins is only a slot WR (not going to get enough touches to really carry the passing attack)
Early in camp people were praising Hawkins, what happened? Did not hear his name nearly as often as camp continued.

Anyone know of any cuts from other teams that they would like to see the Browns add to the final roster. Got to think 1 or as as many as 2 of the wr's on the final roster are not even on our roster right now.

I think a supporting cast of Hawkins, Austin, Burlseon, and Cameron are about as good as you will find in the NFL (counting with Gordon). You aren't going to find anyone to replace Josh Gordon. You just aren't. Nor do I see you finding a FA at this point better than the above mentioned. Maybe they could throw together something for Andre Johnson. But is it worth it for a 1 year loan and a guy who has just as much, if not more, injury problems than Austin?

Austin has had two years where he could not stay on the field and has looked like Greg Little in practice . I doubt Burleson even makes the roster, he can't even make it to the practice field. That is a pretty crappy WR supporting cast. Hawkins is the one guy that will help, but I could not disagree with you more about Austin and Burlseon,
