No they didn't. They didn't play "seven seconds or less." It's a totally different offense this year.
In the playoffs the Warriors had the eighth fastest pace. So when you check what I originally wrote (copied and pasted for your convenience), you will understand my point. They had the fastest pace in the league last year. I do not know what you're talking about...
This is why the "seven seconds or less" offense is so beatable. Force the team into low-efficiency shots and it's game over. Let's hope the Clippers can keep it up.
No way the Warriors play this style come playoff time, or even when Kerr comes back, it's a terrible bet against good, prepared teams.

Its true though... this Warriors team is just a slightly more talented version of Mike D’antoni’s Phoenix Suns teams of the mid-’00s.This is why the "seven seconds or less" offense is so beatable. Force the team into low-efficiency shots and it's game over. Let's hope the Clippers can keep it up.

It seems I edited too late. So I'll add this here. Warriors are averaging almost one full "Pace point" per 48 minutes more this season than last. That is not a negligible number, either. This is a strategy that works wonders during the regular season but not come playoffs, just ask the Suns. You said "they didn't play 7 seconds or less" and then "it's a totally different offense this year."
It seems fairly clear you weren't just referring to how they played in the playoffs.
ya definitely because cp3 is back. curry getting 2 early fouls definitely didn't trigger your post or anything.
There like the Suns if they didnt get cheap and lose Joe JohnsonIts true though... this Warriors team is just a slightly more talented version of Mike D’antoni’s Phoenix Suns teams of the mid-’00s.
I agree. The teams are a bit different. I think Nash will go down as one of, if not the best distributor in contemporary NBA history. The Suns also played in an age of dominant big men, requiring guys like Amare Stoudamire, Boris Diaw, and Antonio McDyess to defend. Its true though... this Warriors team is just a slightly more talented version of Mike D’antoni’s Phoenix Suns teams of the mid-’00s.
A lot is reliant on Paul Pierce. He has historically been great at focusing a few headcases come playoff time. The big challenge, for him, is the Clippers have more than a few.Blake is smooth now. If the Clips don't pull a Clips this year they could be a threat.
