2015 Minor League Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Do any of these four on offense(Zimmer, Bradley, Frazier, NRod) project as May/June 2016 call ups like Lindor and Gio were this year? Or all these all 2017 guys at earliest?

Zimmer is the only player with a realistic shot to impact the big league club in 2016, IMO.

Makes sense given age, college experience and current position in the farm system. Thanks for the answer.

Since you've been following the Indians farm system, when is the last time you can remember seeing so many potentially legit offensive bats in the system at once? (Even more impressive considering the Lindor, Gio, and JRam all already moved out of the farm system in the past 12 months or less)

Kaminsky throws tonight for Lynchburg whoever wants to do a little scoreboard watching.

I'm sure Frazier will pick up just like Zimmer and Bradley are early today.

Easily the best of the Shapiro/Antonetti era.

I'd argue there hasn't been this much talent in the minors since 1996-97. Sean Casey, Enrique Wilson, Russ Branyan, Richie Sexson in the lower levels and Brian Giles graduating. They also had a stout pitcher named Bartolo Colon and, of course, Jaret Wright who would graduate later that season.

Is Naquin worth getting excited about at the MLB level?

For me no. Others think he'll be David DeJesus that sticks in CF.

I'm just not convinced.

BA unveiled their "Best Tools" survey from managers and coaches for the AA level.

Yandy was voted 'best strike-zone judgement' and 'best defensive 3B' in the Eastern League

Erik Gonzalez was voted 'best infield arm' in the Eastern League

Akron manager David Wallace was voted 'best manager prospect' in the Eastern League. I guess he grew tired of being the CEO of Dunder Mifflin.... I wonder if they use 'Suck It' for picking up BP balls?

Kaminsky 2 scoreless innings thus far (1 H, 1 BB, 2 K).

Frazier has drawn a pair of walks in his 2 plate appearances so far.

Not a great game by Kaminsky or Lynchburg tonight.

Kaminsky was placed on the 7-day DL after his start last night.
